@bluey. My advice is don't start with anything unless you are mentally ready because if you are not ready there is a big risk of failing. Repeated failure can make you feel less of a person.

Second thing is: don't diet. It's stupid! Instead change what you eat gradually because your tastebuds and your body needs time to get use to different kind of food. Instead of fry chicken eat baked, choose ovenroasted potatoes insted of fries, eat dairy products with lower fat, when you get hungry eat fruit. But all this takes time and 'himmat'. There is no easy way out. Don't forget to drink WATER. If you don't like the taste squeeze some lemon in it. I have lots of other tips too. I could go and on.

For workout: start walking. Maybe begin with 5 min then increase gradually. Before you know it you will be able to walk much more and longer than before.

Hope some of the tips helps.
I agree the brain has too be ready for any type of change to be successful.  the diet worked for me because I was ready and willing to do anything to look and feel good.  I was determined to be back to my high school weight and I loved hearing everyone tell me how good I look.  that motivated me even more.  Now i am back to normal eating but not gaining any of my weight back.

Roopa did u get my PM....email me the info soon okay?
hanging on to it!!

Mona, your advice was great and true.  different things work for different people.  the person just has to be in for the right reasons and be 100% committed.  I have tried many diets and they work for a little while and I was back to square one.

I agree with not dieting but eating sensibly and exercise is the best form of losing weight it releases endorphins (hormones) which make u feel good and want to carry on.
best advice i can give is start off with less exercise..something u can fit in with your routine and gradually increase it. but the time u exercise, be it 20 mins or 1/2 an hour just make sure it is intense. this method works for me and with ex weight stays off longer when u take a break.

My biggest problem isn't my weight. It's my skin. I've had bad skin for 17 years which had lead to me becoming a complete loner. Also I have some issues with unwanted hair.

These two reasons have made my alreayd difficult life to a complete hell. I don't go out, I don't have any friends, I don't visit my relatives, I don't invite anyone and lets not forget one thing: I NEVER LOOK MYSELF IN THE MIRROR!
