Don't worry, you will. I think it's the Indian parent requirement to make their children feel like they will never succeed or do well. Ouch
I just checked, my GPA's lower than the requirement of my first college choiceOuch

Aww! Usually though, if your SAT/ ACT scores are pretty high, you have good extracurriculars, and good essays, then the GPA might not effective you. Especially since it's probably not that far off. I've seen people get into medical school with a 2.8 GPA in college just because they did super well on the MCAT. Confused
LOL looks like SAT's won't help either.Ouch Well, I really need a scholarship/grant/aid of sorts because my parents can't afford it(long story) My dad told me that as long as you show interest in the line you want to major in, the colleges might give financial aid.

Interest doesn't matter as much as SAT/ ACT scores or leadership/ community service projects. Do you volunteer anywhere like a hospital or nursing home or do some sort of community clean up project?
Haha noLOL But I've interned at places...

Oh really? Did you internship at a college? Sometimes those colleges can offer you scholarships. Also, sometimes internships can count for scholarships depending on what you did.

I'm sure you will be fine! Big smile Where do you want to go? (If you don't want to share, that's fine! Smile)

They are two different types of standardized tests that colleges look at for admissions and scholarships. They think they will predict how well people will do in college, but I beg to differ.

Yeah, you heard of George Mason? But unfortunately its a medical college.Ouch

No, no, I actually wanted to go to UC Berk, or someplace like that that offers a good physics undergrad and possibly, grad course. I'm looking into engineering physics or aeronautics to be exact. So yeah, these stupid state universities don't offer grants and stuffAngry

no, I've not heard of him. I was talking about one of my friends' friends who got admission to medical school at my previous university. It's a wonderful medical school, but she did not really deserve to get in!

Oh you know, there's this really good school my friend goes in Atlanta for aeronautics. My old college and even my current one have wonderful engineering schools. My old college though, was extremely good.

California is broke, so you don't want to go there for school unless if you can afford it.

Ohh.....okay! LOL There are even universities out of the country for medical school too. My cousin and a couple of family friends have gone there and became wonderful doctors.
