What is the big deal when stars repeat clothes?

We do not expect stars to own 365 clothes for 365 days of the year. Why is it made a big deal when a dress/jacket/salwar/saree is repeated in multiple locations?

I know eh! Deepika got so much flak for wearing her blue dress from Khuda Jaane to other occasions. There was a whole topic on stars repeating their outfits a while ago.

But you know what, I myself got so much flak from people when I went to India, because I kept repeating my outfits. I had 5 weddings to go to and only bought 2 outfits to wear and it was as if I committed a crime. People can be so shallow. 👎🏼

apparently, they are meant to have an endless supply of clothes and accessories......😆

yeah even i can't understand why is it a huge CRIME when they repeat the same clothes

forget the clothes, if they repeat even a bangle or any other accessories, then its a huge deal

I think it's good to recycle.
As long as they don't look exactly the same, then it's fine.
