on STAR Plus. Arhaan has gained many fans for his unique style of

characters in the show. Unlike most leading men he is not very proper
in his behavior and neither very stylish and that is what makes his
character Krishna lovable.
Jia Manek: The meek and docile bahu Gopi aka Jia Manek of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya on STAR Plus charmed her way into the hearts of the audience. Saath Nibhaana Saathiya
is currently leading in the TRP race and the protagonist Gopi has a
huge role in making the show so popular. Jia?s innocent looks and
attempts to win over her husband Aham who hates her are a hit with the
audience.
Pratyusha Bannerjee: At first the audience expressed doubt about whether Pratyusha Bannerjee who plays the grownup Anandi in Balika Vadhu
on Colors will be able to play the role as well as child star Avika
Gor. Pratyusha proved her critics wrong with her acting skills and the
show is still as popular as it used to be before the leap. Pratyusha and
co-star Shashank Vyas (Jagya) are now very popular with the viewers.
Yashashri Masurkar: The lovable small town girl Khanak aka
Yashasri Masurkar has wooed the audience with her simplicity and
innocence. Most viewers can identify with Khanak because she is simple
in her behavior and the way she presents herself. Yasashri?s portrayal
of Khanak deserves a mention because she plays the character perfectly.
Smriti Kalra: Smriti is one of the most unconventional leading
ladies that Indian television has seen. Neither is she exceptionally
good looking nor does she have a perfect figure. Smriti won over the
audience with her portrayal of Simi in 12/24 Karol Bagh on Zee
Tv who is unmarried at 30 and also overweight. The audience empathized
with Simi as Smriti proved that one does not need perfect looks to be a
popular TV star.
