 Mayank felt as if something divine was walking towards him, his feet froze their, he couldn't even smile back,

"a gaye ap", her vibrant voice collided with his ears and he smiled,

"haan", he looked at her she was smiling so he smiled back, "kia baat hai bht jaldi main bhag kar arahi thi meri taraf",

Nupur blushed a bit, "haan, wo..ap meri movies le kar aye ho na", and the smile vanished from mayank's face, he thought may be..

"kia hua?", his voice again penetrated his thoughts, "kuch nahi, ye lo", he handed him the bag and started walking inside, and nupur was walking beside him, taking a single CD at a time and reading the titles.

Mayank again was feeling something strange, nothing of that sort happened, but still he wasn't able to understand the sadness that engulfed his heart.

He shrugged off the thoughts because he knew his dad would see all of this, and he himself couldn't explain anything.

They entered inside, "dad nahi uthey abhi tak?", he was surprised to see no one in the lounge,

"uthey they, per abhi apne kamre main hain", he went to his dad's room, and nupur wanted to follow him, but something came in his mind and he left it, instead she went to her own room.

"Good morning dad!", he open the room greeting while Mihir shifted his eyes from the TV to mayank, "Good afternoon,", he corrected him, while mayank sat beside him smiling,

"kahan they ap beta?", he was really cross at him,

"dad office main", he expected his dad would ask him all this ,"aur si sey pehle k ap mujhe danto, it was not my fault, German clients aj raat ja  rahe they, actually Berlin main bht kharab mausam hai, tu aj raat k baad there weren't any flights for the whole next week, so is liye aj hi kaam karna para, warna wo log chaley jatey aur phir next month tak kaam postpone ho jata"

He made sure he told him the whole story,

"hmmm..thek hai, per jao nupur k pass, pata hai kitna dari hoyi thi subha. Aisay akela chor kae chaley gaye, atleast us ko neche tu le atey,"

"dad, ap, .."

"ok fine, ab jao nupur k pass, aur phir sath lunch karte hain."

He quietly got up went to his room, and as expected nupur was reading names of the covers and all the CDs were spread on the bed, she looked up at him and smiled, while mayank went to the table, taking off his watch and placed his mobile there.

He was silent because according to him nupur was to busy to talk, and as he entered nupur's  concentration in the films was zero, she started observing him, he took off his shoes and wore slippers and then he took the TV remote, and then he stood beside the bed, it was all covered with CDs,

"nupur",

 she was so waiting for him to call her name,"gi?"

"mujhe thori si jaga mile gi bethne k liye", nupur couldn't understand but then she realized that the whole bed was full of CDs, she immediletly collected, clearing his side

"thank you", he sat down, switching on the TV, nupur stole glance sat him, he was totally involved in the match,

"ap ki meeting kasi thi?", he turned towards her, lowering the TV volume,

"achi thi", he smiled a bit again looking at the TV.

Nupur was feeling something guilty, she couldn't realize what, but she knew she had done something wrong

"ap k jane k baad main soyi nahi thi", she wanted to talk to him, he didn't say anything

"hmmm",

"baba ne meri ghr pe baat bhi karwayi"

"hmmm"

"nashtha main ne aur baba ne sath kiya, soji ka halwa"

"hmmm"

"baba ne mujhe sara ghr bhi dikhaya,'

 she made another attempt and this time mayank looked at her, she was making attempts and he understood, his heart wanted him to surrender, her innocence was too difficult to resist.

"tu kaisa laga ap ko ghr?, finally nupur got a response she wanted, his full smile with dimples, her heart again filled with joy,"bht bht bht acha hai!"

Mayank again was about to say something when there was at the ineter com bell, mayank picked it up "a rahe hain"

He placed it back and looked at nupur who was waiting what happened, 'chalo, dad lunch pe wait kar rahey hain"

He got up from the bed and nupur followed him, they reached the table and mayank was shocked

"bhindi!''

Mihir and nupur both got scared at his sudden voice, but mihir's shock was temporary, he started laughing, 'g hann bhindi, nupur ko bht psnd hai", nupur looked at mayank and tried to smile because his expressions were scaring her and Mihir was enjoying, "ab hoga pyar ka asli test Mr. Romeo, love at first sight hun!", he murmured to himself

Maynk sat down and nupur was constantly observing him, "ap ko bhindi nahi pasnd", she asked in a such a soft voice with wide eyes that mayank wanted to say that it is his favorite to see the smile,

"bilkul nahi pasnd hai isye", Mihir solved his problem by answering, and nupur got confused,"sorry, mujhe nahi pata tha"

"koi baat nahi", mayank assured her.

"ap kha kar tu dekhiye, bht achi hoti hai, plz, taste tu kejiye", nupur smiled serving bhindi in his plate and he had no other choice but to stare at her and as soon as bhindi collided with his taste buds he came back to senses, realized what was in his mouth, but nupur was looking at him with so much interest, hoping that he would like it that he swallowed it.

Mihir was shocked!.MAYNK ATE BHINDI!, he started laughing and mayank glared at him and then all three of them finished the lunch, nupur who was enjoying and mayank who was trying to enjoy but was helpless.

They finished with lunch and mayank was constantly drinking water to remove every last bit of fragment of bhindi in his taste buds,

"main aj raat ko jar raha haon", mihir's sudden declaration shocked both of them, but most of all mayank

"aj?",

"hmmm..aj!', a sad undertone was clearly visible in his voice

"baba kahan ja rahe ho ap?", nupur couldn't resist asking,

"beta apne ghr ja raha hon, paris mian"

"ye ap ka ghr nahi hia?"

Mihir was confused to answer when mayank cut in, "kab hai ap ki flight?'

"5 baje"

There was complete silence on the table, "acha ab meri thori help hi kar do packing main"

Mihir wanted to lighten the atmosphere but mayank was silent,"main help karti hona p ki"

Nupur got up", haan beta ap chalo, mayank tu kabhi koi baat nahi manta hai meri"

But mayank was silent, he looked at the clock, it was 2, he kept sitting on the dining table, time always flew when his father used to come, he always had to face this, even before he could enjoy properly, the date of his father going used to come.

"suniye", he turned and nupur was standing there, "wo ik suit case band nahi ho raha hai, tu band kar dijye"

He got up and Mihir was standing quietly too, he closed the suitcase,

"chalen airport, international flight hai, jaldi check in karna chiaye",

Mayank picked up the suit case and placed it on the floor

"haan haan chalo, chalo nupur"

"nupur kia kare gi ja kar"

Nupur who was smiling at mihir's invitation got scared

"wohi jo ap karo gey beta", Mihir didn't like the way he bluntly said all that

"dad, lekin", he resisted, but looking at the determined look at his father, "ok fine"

He moved outside and nupur was resistant which was sensed by mihir "koi baat nahi beta, wo naraz nai hai, wo isa hi hai, chalo chalo, meri beti mujhe airport chorne nahi jaye gi kia?"

Nupur agreed and they both walked towards the car, "itni jaldi ku ja rahe ho baba?"

"beta majbori hai", he controlled tears in his eyes, "per kahin na kahin marzi bhi hai"
