Oh wow, what a transformation after the pheras!
Shaadi se pehley Mona's little payal got Anu all teary, now she's in his bedroom and he's on the couch!
Hey Anu, get up and clarify with Mona, or its gonna be a bumpy ride...your mom already thinks she's wrong for you.
Keep the communication going or the wall of silence will get so high you won't be able to scale it to get to your lady love.
Before he got hitched Anu was itching to break Goldie's jaw. Now, when Ambaji shoots fire-arrows with her eyes, he's a scared little kitten. "Tu chup kar!" Ouch.
I want him to defend Mona more, and more frequently. Couldn't he have told his mother that Mona can't cook?
He spent so much time being her best buddy, itni si baat Mona ke baarey mein nahin janta tha?
Looks like Ambaji's efforts at poisoning their ears by saying that he had to marry her to save her izzat and the she doesn't love her, and to Mona, that he doesn't love her, all this was done to protect her izzat...what a clever but nasty move. Karmically wrong, Ambaji.
Now both are drifting apart, he doesn't defend her as vigorously as before and she's stopped confiding in him, like by shutting the bedroom door. He can't even share in her tears.
She's not Gujarati, why does she have to keep any vrat? She was only trying to help by allowing her mom to bring in the food so they wouldn't go hungry. Mona's folks forgot about their religious rules and regulations, but they had no bad intentions.
Personally, I don't think any religion is so kaccha that itni aasanee sey dharam bhrasht ho jai.
Ambaji is taking this too far...Mona is Sikh, so she shouldn't have to keep the vrat.
What's next, is she going to undergo the pressure of changing her whole religion for them?
Bahu bannesey apna astitva kyun khona parey Mona ko? He should love her as she is.
Otherwise its not love, its a business deal.
And these two truly care for each other.
