Today's episode starts with Tanisha kissing Adi on the cheek. Everybody is shocked at her outrageous behavior. Adi is embarrassed and takes Tanisha out; Santosh, Chanda and Avtar excuse themselves. Gajender is amused and says they make a good couple but on seeing Ammaji's angry face, he shuts up.
Chanda goes into her room and finds Avtar going through the wardrobe. She recollects the way in which Tanisha kissed Adi and she goes near him to kiss him but Avtar notices her and asks her what the matter is. Husband and wife share a light moment.
Next morning, Ammaji is about to go for her morning walk when Adi comes and touches her feet. She asks him why he isn't coming with her and he replies that he's feeling too tiered to go for a walk. Ammaji scolds him for not being fit enough. She tells him she has something important to say to him which she would after coming back from her walk.
When she goes out, she sees Tanisha doing her aerobics in the portico and a watchman checking her out. She gets furious and screams out for Yashpal and orders him to suspend the security. Tanisha is shocked and she doesn't understand why Ammaji behaved in such a manner and Adi takes her in.
Dia tells Jhanvi how Avtar spoke on her behalf and made Ammaji give her permission to go to college. Jhanvi is impressed and praises Avtar. Jhanvi notices Dia smiling more than usual and enquires about it but Dia rubbishes it. Just then Jhanvi spots a poster announcing an event in college. She is excited about it and says she would sing and Dia would dance at the fest. Dia is horrified at the idea and says Ammaji would never give her the permission to take part in the event.
Tanisha and Santosh are in the kitchen when Karan comes and hands over a bag to his mother saying that Avtaar asked him to give it to her. When Karan exits, Tanisha tells Santosh that she is very lucky to have a hard working son like him. She says that she has never seen anybody else in the household doing as much work as him. Santosh feels bad at her observation. Chanda comes in just then and asks Santosh what she should wear for Lohri.Santosh, Chanda and Tanisha discuss about it and Chanda leaves satisfied.
Ammaji comes into the kitchen and asks Santosh if everything is ready for the evening. Tanisha says she is enjoying herself very much and she would miss all this when she and Adi return back to America. This upsets and angers Ammaji but she leaves without saying anything. Tanisha is puzzled at Ammaji's behavior and asks Santosh about it but she too keeps mum. Santosh says to Tanisha that she may wear whatever she wants to in the evening when the latter enquires about it.
Joginder and Gajender are discussing about the guests who have been invited and Gajender says they would have an opportunity to make new contacts that evening.
Jhanvi calls up Dia and asks her why she hasn't come to college. She replies that there is Lohri celebrations at home and she has lot of work to do. Dia says she wants to invite her too for the celebrations but cant because it would upset Ammaji. Jhanvi says she would definitely come because Dia wants her to.
Celebrations are going on in full swing with everybody dancing around the fire. Adi and Tanisha come and touch Ammaji and Joginder's feet and Ammaji whispers to Joginder that Tanisha atleast had the sense to wear something Indian for the evening and that they wouldn't have to be embarrassed in front of the guests.
Chanda and Avtar dance for a track from Veer Zaara with everybody joining in.Jhanvi comes in a Sardar disguise and she boldly smiles at Ammaji and touches her feet. She dances around Dia and "eve teases" her. After sometime she removes her "moustach" and reveals herself to Dia who is amused at her disguise.Karan notices his parents sitting without dancing and Santosh feels hurt at Joginder's indifferent attitude.Tanisha joins in to dance and after a while her wrap falls down revealing her backless choli. But she continues to groove oblivious to it.Everybody is shocked and embrassed..Ammaji is furious and gets up from her seat.
PRECAP- Tanisha continues to dance with some guys whistling at her and everybody else staring at her in shock. Adi notices this and finally stops her.
