@Justj, sorry for butting in here but wanted to make one point clear first…we are not asking for the same show…just the same pair.
But we do have 3 main reasons for being BP loyalists.
1. This was the only series that depicted the reality of happenings in some villages in India…and believe me, worse s**** happens.
2. This was a show about a woman who against all odds, turns every odds against her to her advantage and uses all means available to fight for what she thinks is right and bring the wrongdoer to his knees
3. This was a show about a man's obsession which turned into his love, a love that makes him repent and makes him understand that to truly love someone is to be able to sacrifice everything for them…even himself.
But most of all, we are loyalist because of the performance of Sharad Kelkar (SK) and Supriya Kumar (SK) and every other cast member who was chosen and was perfect for his/her role.
Sharad as the devious and evil DV showing the transition from an obsessive bad guy to a man who goes through hell for the love of a woman
Supriya as the timid amoli who transforms into a tigress who tears into DV at every turn and subdues him finally.
And one more thing…we are not crazy. A little strong-minded, indomitable, eternally optimistic and at sometimes nerdy even…but never crazy.
