Anandi cries and pleads with Jagya not to go. She feels that Jagya is leaving because of her. She promises to try and change herself the way Jagya wants. She hugs Jagya and cries. Jagya feels bad and assures Anandi that he is not leaving because of her, but because he has to attend classes. He goes to kiss Anandi's hands and again turns away in disgust that her hands stink of onion and garlic. He hurriedly packs and leaves as Anandi cries.
Downstairs, Jagya takes everyone's blessings. B&B escort Jagya to the bus station while the women stand around crying. Back in her room, Anandi is very upset and keeps crying as she sees Jagya's pictures and remembers the way Jagya behaved with her in the last 2 days. She runs to the terrace and finds Jagya's kite and cries. She says that she loves Jagya a lot and promises to change herself to be exactly the way Jagya wants her to be. She then tries to fly a kite. Daadisa comes there and yells at her to stop trying to act like a boy and go inside. Anandi goes inside sadly.
The next morning, Jagya reaches Mumbai and at the college gates, he sees Gauri and is very happy. Gauri is happy to see him too and they approach each other and ackwardly bump into each other. Jagya says he came back to study. The two look awkward around each other. Jagya suggests they go out since they have time. Gauri agrees and tells Jagya that they should go to a really new and different place. Jagya agrees to take her to such a place.
