We knw that kinjals was locked in her room upstairs by Ahem. But today when kokila nd others were at mandir, they showed kenjal watching them frm her room downstairs.

The SNS team always move the rooms for the effect of what they intend for that episode, we clearly remember when Kinjal (day of Elesh and her engagement) wanting to leave through the window and the room was upstairs really high up.

Also Aham's first room was downstairs next to kitchen, if you remember the first week of marriage, Gopi came out of their room to check the kitchen after a noise, it was Jigar looking for food, she prepared something for him, it was the episode where the window was open and wind was causing Aham to be restless, Gopi was sleeping on the floor, she woke up closed the window heard noise in kitchen and came out of the room to check what it was. Then all of a sudden we see her staying upstairs and Aham too staying upstairs.
