- Devki enters a women's hostel at night, pays the security guard 100 rupees and comes out of the hostel. All the while she keeps looking around to ensure that no one is looking around. An ambassador comes along and picks her up. The person inside the car is not shown. IMV's friend who is observing all this calls up Vaibhav and reports whatever he had seen. Vaibhav resolves to bring her relationship out in the light in a manner that will make lose trust in all relationships.
- Ba and Motilal are waiting in a park and Ba is eager to go home to catch a Gujrati serial. Motilal asks her to wait because he has someone important to introduce to her. Just then Devki arrives and Ba identifies her as the woman who "slapped" IMV. Motilal warns her not tell her that they are IMV's parents. He calls out to Devki and congratulates her for insulting IMV in public. Devki is shocked and surprised and tells them that she had no intention of the sort. Motilal tells her that if she had no such intention then she must have such an intention in future. He says that he is a share holder in IMV's company and wishes him good. He tells Devki that she must insult IMV more in public so that his pride is injured.
- Nirali comes in just then to see Devki with her grandparents and she is shocked and she hides herself. She calls up her grandfather and informs him that she is held up somewhere and cannot make it to the park in time. She asks them to come directly to the ice cream corner where they had planned to meet. Devki offers to give them a lift but they deny the offer and proceed to catch a taxi leaving behind a puzzled Devki.
- Sid is called to IMV's office and IMV delegates an important work to Sid regarding Mumbai Floats. Sid says that he cannot do it as he is not experienced enough. IMV explains to him that a manager cannot experiment but an owner can. Sid says that he can never become like IMV. IMV tells him that he cannot become like him because he has no dreams. Sid is hurt by this and tells him that he did have dreams but those dreams weren't big enough for a Virani. He excuses himself by saying that he has to go through some important document.
- Vaibhav calls up Sabeena and arranges for a meeting with her. They arrange to meet up at 4:30 pm the next day in the basti. Sabeena tells him that she'll be there 15min before schedule and she warns him that if he does not turn up by 4:30, she would not be there to talk to him. She says that neither does she wait nor she make any one else wait. Saying this, she cuts the call.
- The Viranis are having a light moment with Rajvi distributing clothes that she had bought for everyone that day. She presents Charu an exclusive designer saree which Charu likes very much. Jhothsana looking at this hides a cover behind her. Charu notices this and asks her to show it.Jhothsana says that it is a saree that she bought for her friend on their yatra. Charu takes a look at it and says that she likes the saree very much and wishes to have it for herself. Jhothsans is touched by this and reveals that she had bought it for Charu only. Ba looking at all this feels very happy and when everyone goes out of the room, she tells Charu that her son is hell bent on ruining the family while her DIL keeps the family united. She says that she must have done a pooja to a DIL like Charu.
- Its night and IMV is talking to a client on the cell. Charu comes in and expresses her desire to talk to him. She says that she has in mind a girl for Vaibhav. IMV tells her that he has already selected a girl for Vaibahv and he says that by this alliance they would make a profit of 5000 crores. Charu is very upset that IMV has selected a girl for Vaibhav without consulting her. IMV tells her that he cannot waste his time in consulting people and that he knows what is best for his sons as they have his blood running in their veins. Charu says that they may have his blood but their heart is given by her. IMV gets annoyed at this and says that he prefers to be at office than at home so that he can avoid having an argument with Charu often. Charu says that maybe that is the reason why he is a successful businessman but an unsuccessful son and husband.
