On some occasions the kids become geniuses as well as successful, happy, well-adjusted individuals.

However, in most cases kids do become high achieving geniuses but end up being lonely, depressed, unhappy, emotionally unstable, anti-social and a host of other issues that can lead to an unsuccessful life in general. Success in accomplishments, money, awards etc maybe - but life in general fails.

Balance is the key, parents should be strict and expect nothing but the best from kids, but at the same time relax and let them enjoy a good friendly social life too.
