I think it varies between individuals how age affects them. Sometimes even the healthiest go first. A lot could be in the genes.

Well, I think for me, it's more like heart over matter because I tend to think with my heart. Mind sometimes is good for double checking and seeing a reality sense of things though, so it's important to use both, and the combination of mind and heart will be over matter. (If that makes sense....)

Guess the Heart helps to see "Substance over Form"
What is this so called "Heart" we are referring to?
Perhaps wisdom? Or is it love? Or both and more?
If mind us the voice of reason then heart would be emotions.
I guess thoughts and emotions go together. Without emotions and attachment would be Reason.
Some say the conscience is the guide.
