EPISODE 1 - A Beautiful Beginning
Narrator: The story begins in the beautiful city of Banaras!
This is the story of how two very different people, Rudra and Gauri meet.
Kya hai inn dono ke sanjog mein??
Gauri and her family (mom, naani, Umang) are in Banaras visiting their sick aunt, Trish. The doctor says she might have cancer. She is Gauri's mom's sister. As the family gathers around Trish, Gauri takes a thali and decides to go to the Shiva mandir. As the sun's rays shine on her forehead, Gauri is worried. She makes it to the mandir and gives the thali to the pundit. Gauri closes her eyes and prays for her aunt's recovery.
Next to her stands Rudra. He is in Banaras with the love of his life Pihu. They plan on getting married in Banaras. Pihu's and Rudra's families are also there. They plan to make the wedding a grand affair. But Sanjog has something else in mind! The reason Rudra is in the mandir is because he is looking for Pihu. He saw her going to the mandir and is now praying he can find her!
Rudra thinks that now that since Pihu is in his life, he needs nothing else. Gauri finishes praying and takes Shiv ji's blessings. She sees Rudra and stares at him. She smiles and walks out. Rudra is also finished and turns around to find Pihu. She is laughing and says it was a joke. Rudra is furious and says "Don't you know how much I was worried?". Then, he storms out of the mandir in a fit of rage.
Back at Trish's house, Gauri arrives. Her little sister Umang who cannot hear or speak symbols her to come to her aunt. Gauri goes over to her aunt and says not to worry, we will stay here until you are all better. Trish smiles and says she is very proud of Gauri for taking care of her family. "But you have to get married too Gauri," says Trish. Gauri refuses and says she doesn't have time for marriage in her life.
On the other hand, Pihu runs to Rudra and apologizes. Rudra is furious and says he won't talk to her. Pihu is stubborn on making Rudra smile so she says she won't talk to him either. Rudra asks why. Pihu doesn't answer. Rudra is then happy and smiles. He says "Okay, I forgive you." Pihu is happy and hugs Rudra. She whispers: I love you!
Rudra is chasing Pihu on the streets. He bumps in Gauri.
Pihu looks back and sees this. She is confused.
