A story cannot breathe in a show that has to be aired daily and whose  fate is so dependent on the fluctuating weekly TRPs. The first week is attractive, second week looks great, the third week, it starts resembling the other TRP battered shows, and the fourth week, the show is completely devoid of the original base and story.

I cannot compare the present with the past for this show as I did not watch it from the beginning and I do not intend to do so also. I read the synopsis, denizens filled in the details for me and I looked forward to the culmination of certain important tracks. The way they culminated disappointed me big time because the build-up was darn cool.

I doubt if any show can keep the viewers happy all the time. There was a show my mom watched for four years without blinking her eyes, and when it's ending, she does not care about how it's going to end.
