• Savitri Khurana ' Dadimaa of Maan Singh Khurana. Loves her grandson to bits, always worried for him. Lost her son and bahu (Maan's parents) in an accident, soon after her husband passed away. Misses her other grandchildren a lot, she is trying to bring them back.

• Geet Handa ' Bubbly, vivacious, full of life. 21 year old, educated, smart, hard working the only girl in her family. Has 2 brothers to protect her. Speaks a lot of nonsense, does whatever she feels like doing.

• Brij Handa ' The eldest son of Mohinderlal and Rano Handa. 24 year old, termed as the best brother by Geet and Tito Handa. Very protective of his siblings, loves them a lot. Can go to any extent to deal with people when it comes to his family.

• Tito Handa ' 16 year old, least interested in studying, loves to irritate people especially Geet. He dreams of owning expensive bikes and cars, is loved by everyone in the family. Just like Brij he is very particular about protecting his sister Geet.

• Rano Handa ' Wife of Mohinderlal Handa and the mother of Brij, Geet and Tito. A perfect housewife and the best mother in the world. Always worrying for her kids future, especially Geet.

• Mohinderlal Handa'Retired, married Rano. Has a great bonding with his kids. Always supports them, loves his wife. Family is everything to him.

Part – 1

*SLAP* the hall echoed with the noise of him slapping her hard, soon after there was a *THUD* and *CRACK* breaking of bones. She fell down on the floor unable to get up, she was sure that her bones broke. She stared in those eyes which were glowing with anger and terror.

He was not in his right state of mind, today because of her he had broken one of his principles. The principle of never raising hand on a girl, to treat her with all due respect and dignity. But then it was her who had provoked him to cross his limits. It didn't matter who she was all it mattered to him was to get rid of her fast.

She could still feel the stinging effect on her cheek, it felt as if someone had burned her cheek. It was the first time in her life when she was slapped and thrown down as if she was some piece of dirt meant to stay there.

He was perplexed, he didn't knew what to do, even though he was angry on her he felt guilty of his doings. On one hand his brain wanted him to leave from there and on the other hand his heart wanted him to go to her, apologise for his doings and be kind to her. But he listened to his brain, left her lying there on the ground.

She tried to get up slowly, she wasn't sure as to how many broken bones she had. Finally with a bit of difficulty she stood on her feet and thanked her Babaji for making sure she only had a fractured arm. The tears which welled up in her eyes earlier started falling down. She couldn't believe that he would do something like this to her. She didn't know which mistake she had done now.

Dadimaa: Doctor is it very serious, what has happened? Is she fine, kuch toh bolo.

Doctor: Dadimaa fikar karne ki koi baat nahi, its just a small fracture. I am sure it will heal in a few weeks time. Just make sure you ask her to take care of it.

Dadimaa: Theek hai

Geet: Dadi, meine kaha na aapko mein bilkul theek hu. Doctor ne bhi yahi kaha, aap fikar mat karo.

Dadimaa: Beta yeh sab kaise hua? Kya aap log ke beech mein fir se kuch hua?

Geet: No Dadi. Mein toh bus gir gayi seediyo se. Its just that the staircase was wet and I slipped and fell. Aur waise bhi woh aisa kyun karenge?
