Chapter Eleven
Mayank reached Nupur's boutique to invite her for award function. Nupur was surprised to see Mayank in her office. She didn't want to see his face again in her life but might be destiny wanted that they met frequently.
Nupur: ap?
Mayank: ha main. Ye li jiye?
Mayank gave her a card.
Nupur: ye kya hey?
Mayank: invitation card.
Nupur: kiski?
Mayank: award function ki. Mere hotel ko iss bar bhi best hospitality award mili hey.
Nupur: assa'..toh ap mujhe kyun invite kar rahe hey?
Mayank: kyun ki ap ne mujhe challenge kiya tha ki iss baar ye award mere hotel ko nehi milegi. Toh mein apko ye baatane ayi hoon ki Mayank Oberoi ko har challenge jitney ki adapt hey.
Nupur: par meine toh woh aise hi kaha tha. Woh challenge nehi tha.
Mayank: but I accepted that as a challenge.
Nupur: okay'''congratulation.
Mayank: sirf congratulation se kam nehi chalega ap ko ye award function attend karni padhegi.
Nupur: par'
Mayank: please'.. mana maat karna'ap ayenge toh mujhe assa lagega.
Nupur: okay.
Mayank: thanks'I will be waiting for you. Bye
Nupur: bye.
Mayank left Nupur's office. On the way he couldn't understand why she insisted Nupur to come. He went there to show her that he was capable for doing his job. On the other hand Nupur couldn't understand why she said yes to that rich brat. She didn't want to see his face but when he told that he would be happy if she would come then she didn't forbid him.
At award function
Mayank was waiting for Nupur. He was wearing a black business suit. He was checkin his watch frequently'.
Mayank (to himself) : Mayank tujhe ho kya gaya. Tu toh us ladhki ka shakal tak nehi dekhna chehta tha aur aj tu uski intezar kar rahi hey'.kyun? kyunki uss ladki ko mein dikhana chahta hoon ki Mayank Oberoi apna kam karma janta hey.
While Mayank talking to himself Nupur came. She was wearing a black saree. She was looking gorgeous. Mayank was staring her. Nupur called him''
Nupur: Mr. Oberoi'
Mayank: ha'..thanks for coming. b/w you are looking beautiful.
Nupur: thanks. ab ander chale.
Mayank: ya sure.
They both entered into the hall and took their seat. After sometimes the function was started. After giving some speeches and awards the anchor announced Mayank name. Mayank went to the stage for receiving the award. While he was receiving his award he felt a strange happiness. He never felt such happiness in his whole life. He could understand this was the happiness of success.
After the award function Mayank and Nupur left the hall. Outside the hall'.
Mayank: thanks Ms. Gupta'..
Nupur: kyun?
Mayank: agar apne mujhe uss din woh sab baat nehi kehti toh mein kabhi apna kam seriously nehi karti. Aur nahi mujhe aj ye award milti. Phir mein kabhi nehi samaj pati ki success ho ne par jo khushi mehsoos hoti hey woh iss duniya ki sabse badhi khushi hey'.
Nupur: woh toh hey'b/w I'm sorry meine tumhe kitna galat samja.
Mayank: ha''par mein tumhe ek sart par maaf kar sakta hoon if you call me Mayank. Woh kya hey na Mr. Oberoi shunke aisa lagta hey ki main koyi 50 saal ka budda hoon.
Nupur: Okay'then I have a condition too. You also call me by my name.
Mayank: thik hey'then friends.
Mayank stretched his hand toward Nupur for starting a new relation. Nupur saw the hand then she also stretched her hand.
Nupur: friends'.okay toh aj mein chalti hoon. Bahut raat ho chuki hey.
Mayank: okay'mein tumhe sor du.
Nupur: thanks par mere pass car hey.
Mayank: okay'.bye. See you soon.
Nupur: bye.
Mayank and Nupur both went to their respective direction but today they had different view foe each other.
Mayank: itna bhi buri nehi hey'..bahut sweet hey. Par gussa bahut jaida hey. Samal ke rehna padhega.
Nupur: hm kam karna janta hey'.dil ka bahut assa hey. Par bahut jiddi hey. Ye jid asse kam k liye istemal karna padhega.
Next day at Hotel Oberoi
Mayank was working in his cabin. Suddenly the phone rang. He picked up the phone. Receptionist informed him that a lady wanted to meet him. He told to send her.
Lady: may I come in?
Mayank: yes'..arre Nupur tum?
Nupur: ha main. Kyun nehi a sakti kya?
Mayank: aisa kuch nehi hey. Baitho na.
Nupur: thanks.
Mayank: toh bolo kya loge chaye ya coffee?
Nupur: coffee.
Mayank ordered two coffees.
Mayank: assa kaise ho? Aur bathao yaha kyun ayi ho?
Nupur: mein thik hoon. Aur mein aise ya nehi a sakti kya!
Mayank: aisa kuch nehi hey. Tum jab haho yaha a sakte ho. Par mein tumhe jitna samja tum aise toh yaha nehi ayoge.
Nupur: wow'tum toh mujhe bahut assi tara se samjne lage ho' actually mein yaha ek kam se hi ayi hoon.
Mayank: mere yaha'kam k liye! Par Nupur main toh kam karma janta ho nehi.
Nupur: shut up Mayank. Meine sorry kaha na.
Mayank: I was just kidding. Assa bolo kya kam hey.
Nupur: actually mein ek international fashion parade organize karana chahti hoon'tumhari hotel mein.
Mayank: that's really great. Toh kam shuru karte hey. woh kya hey na meri ek friend hey jiski gussa nak par rehti hey''.aur agar thiri si bhi kam mein ghar bari huyi na toh wo bharak jati hey'..
Nupur: Mayank''.
Mayank: okay baba'sorry. Chalo sab kuch discuss kar lete hey'
They started a new journey which was planned by destiny many years back'. Then they both escaped from this''.but they didn't know that destiny never changed its plan'''.it always did what it wanted'..no one could escape from it''.
