Seriously Hiral...My son is also addicted to the Nintendo DS...So my hubby has made a STRICT rule that he will get only 2 hours for the entire weekend to play on DS & thru the week he cannot touch his DS....which is good...that way v keep him focused on studies & reading books, & playing other board games ....

Ohhh these kids...BUT sometimes this DS is a boon u know when kids r not in control u give them the DS & u don't even have to worry about them at all...they will sit quietly & play & not run around when u don't want them to....

But like it goes...TOO MUCH OF ANYTHING IS NOT GOOD ....Smile

my elder one @ 15 sits at the computer and so the younger one @ 9 ha to keep taking permission for touching the computer. he gets so mad that he then gets all his friends and they are at the WII. When the noise level becomes too much i shoo them out and then they go out to the park to play football.

now the latest thing is something called beyblades and all the kids are running beyblade tournaments in each other's houses. they have come up with a schedule with timings etc and the place etc. they get approval from the parents etc for each house and the day. When it is stuff that is important for them, thye are super organised. But to find their shoes they need their mom.

it is not so bad yaar. i am in delhi and my kids are using all the gadgets. all the baby sitter gadgets are being used here as well. we are truly living in a globalised world. and nowadays everybody has an inverter but seriously light doesn't go so often.

that is the tragedy. even with the weather being good most of the time, they have to be forced to go outside and play. they prefer to be stuck to what i call the 'BABY SITTER DEVICES'.

It is really cold here now. in fact it is warmer outside when the sun comes out. the house is colder than outside but they still prefer to be stuck in the cold inside playing the WII rather than playing nicely in the sun outside when it does come out.
