Tanthya lovely post like always..
it was not a bad episode i think
SS, Amma, and Shakti were very good.. loved SS the most.. whatever he said to YKW is so so true.. very realistic.. perfect choice of words...
and i liked Shakti in the room when he is in a way threatening YKW.. thank God CVs have realized that this is one man who can never be changed when it comes to dealing with women.. this is the truth that he is cruel towards women and simply no one even YKW can change his outlook towards them.. i liked his threat to her when he said ''i will show you now who i am'' very much like His character..  this is a negative character which obviously people dislike but he is someone who is real and am glad he has been maintained like this..

i didn't liked AH at all.. Tongue  no sympathy for her, she was the same like always.. no expressions nothing!

PG was better in the scene with Kesar, GD and Piyasiya.. and also when K stops her, traces of helplessness was there in her expressions..

loved how in the end all the Thakurs were shown in one frame looking at Prof. and the police..  AB looked so cute in the side pose.. Embarrassed

Thank You, Filza..

It was not a bad episode at all ..but in comparison to previous day , the pace was a bit slow..

I donno about Shakthi, Yaar..Y'day his performance lacked fire ..he said the dialogues and all that but the feeling of fear did not seep through..But what he and SS said was quite an accurate reflection's of certain ppl's Mentality ..

AH was good when she could be heard but was Dead when we could see her..

I too liked the ending scene..Smile

i think i will never like AH even if she is really very good one day.. EmbarrassedLOL

We do know the reason for that ...  LOL           you know it!! WinkLOL

i dont know, i felt Shakti  was scary enough in the end part especially..  when he just throws YKW there and leaves Confused

No, re ..for Shakthi has lost his potency ..He needed to be the big bad boy..he still is not ..

hope he really comes back in form soon.. he would beat the hell out of poor Kesar why shall he leave YKW.. not that i wish bad for that girl but it will be out of character if a man like Shaktii spares her..

He needs to, If that impact has to be achieved else our sympathies  with Aarushi and our revulsion of Shakthi will not happen.. ..If this continues we might end up sympathizing with Shakthi ShockedLOLLOL..I'm Sure The CV's do not want that..

yeah the feudal mentality was very well reflected in SS's words.. powerful dialogues he had..
such families exist in our part of the world.. and incident narrated by Piyasiya can be connected to our societies too..

It exists in few Indian belts too..Ouch  yeah, i meant India, Pak, BD.. all these countries

Very sad Na..

Sorry to interrupt, but the mentality of man being a woman's possession exists in all society.  I just think it is more hidden in western societies and only we become aware is when a case comes to the attention of the media.

Man by nature is possessive, territorial and aggressive plus Polygamous ..While Women are not reactive and accept it as their lot in many of the Asian countries...Such notions are resisted and not accepted so easily in the western society ...I do not say there is resistance always but neither is acceptance meek..
Tanths have you been to UtahLOL

Sorry to regress, but does not Utah have some of the most conservative laws that prevail and followed.  No drinking and divorce is considered a sin or something.

They have a law against Divorce ShockedShockedShockedShockedShocked..what happens if the hubby is a psychopath  and wife wants to live him..

Many of the polygamous communities are gated guarde by men with rifles. Many men have more than 10+ wives and 20+ children. It si very difficult for these girls to escape. I emphasize girls because often they are child brides.

Are these relationships not only incest but most of them are uneducated and are not aware of the so called outside world. They are born to this society and they die within this society.

From my understanding, divorce is a sin and it reflects badly on the woman.  It is a religious led state rather than law led state where the church is the higher law maker.

yes Ouch Tanths sis, we have heard of cases like killing in the name of honor, chopping heads, noses, hands, beating, and other such horrific incidents which is violence and is worse of course..  but though Thakurs are wrong in their ways of dealing with women, like beating them and considering them 'pair ki jooti' and all that nonsense but dont you think what SS said that they are the prestige and honor of the house is actually not that bad a thought... i mean if taken in the other sense which many feudal families do, its also like giving them (women) respect...  i know Thakurs have a really sick mentality and  by honor, prestige they are not even thinking about giving them respect and they probably mean they can just do anything with women.. but i have seen such families similar to Thakurs who consider their women the honor of the house and for that reason give them a lot of respect and are treated in a very good way.... not all such families are bad, there are types here as well..

and what is bad about being possessive.. in a good way doesn't that also shows you care..  i like how K is so possessive of her, that side of his isn't seen much these days, but when they weren't married yet.. i loved his reactions to Angad and how he was jealous of Nitin.... yes considering them  your property and thinking you can just do anything with her is wrong... being possessive and over protective is not something too too weird..  ConfusedEmbarrassed

They think of them as Honor  n Prestige, hun ..but do they treat them with Honor and respect Ouch..Not all Thakur's have the same mentality,Filza..we have the exception in Krishna ..Ppl like SS and Shakthi exist among educated too, only thing they are very cunning and their wife's are too ashamed to talk about it ..

Possessiveness up to a point is good ..but it should not lead to stifling of other partner..Space is needed for a relationship to grow ..Excessive possessiveness leads to stunted groW*H and sometimes relationship dies..

yes this is exactly where Thakurs are wrong! there behavior with them is wrong.. they ill treat them.. Ouch and that is why they are condemned...  yup, that is what i meant too not all such families/people are the same... like here it is K who is different, he not only respects his wife but also his mom, grandmother, sis in law, sister... when he had a fight with Shakti over his second marriage issue i remember he said these words to him '' saari mardangi auraton pe nikalni aati hai'' that  shows na from his heart he considers beating them wrong...

hmm yeah true, you are right about the possessiveness thing.... Embarrassed Tongue

Usually the men get to interact w/ outside world because they are part of the work force. In some of the less guarded communities the women work outside too. They have their own schools. As soon as the FBI gets  a whiff of child molestation they are in tere arresting the men left and right. Otherwise I suspect that even when the police is aware it is largely overlooked. They live freely. Very secretive though. Don't allow outsiders beyond their gates so easily
