January 11th Written Update

Akaashi worrying about why Shamad didn't come home yet and hoping he didn't create a scene again. It's a few hours later and he finally comes home and thinks back to all the times with Akaashi, and how important money is in society today. He wakes her up by accident, he tells her that he took care of everything, and she asks him what happened, but he doesn't tell her. And he praises her for becoming Mrs.Baroda and she makes him promise that nothing happened at the newspaper office. Shamad promises that she won't ever be embarrassed by him again.

Anokhi comes to Smriti's house and tells her that everyone met Karan and how Purva is being stubborn about bringing Karan home to take care of him. Bhavesh comes right then, and Anokhi mentions about going into wedding planning and Bhavesh seems hesitant but Anokhi is stubborn about it. Smriti explains that no job is little or big, and you should just take the opportunities you have, and Bhavesh finally agrees.

Purva calls Smriti and asks her if she's coming to bring Karan home, and Smriti says that she has a job and she won't be able to take a day off. [how insensitive is purva being in this situation? I don't get understand why she would think Smriti, who was physically abused by him, would want to be in his presence] Smriti then hangs up and tells Bhavesh and Anokhi about Purva bringing Karan home and Bhavesh flips and gets really really angry. And Smriti calms him down, saying that none of them want to free him completely, they just want him to get better and then leave the house. Whatever Purva di does will probably be for the best. Bhavesh says that no matter what, he won't support them.

Gomti kaki says to Shamad that the Sanghvi family is bringing Karan home, and Shamad starts to say something when she yells at him and tells him not to say anything, it's their family matter. Shamad talks to Gomti Kaki about him wanting to open a shop to sell foods. And he tells her about how he left his job, and how he wants to make everyone happy by himself. And he shares with her all these dreams he has. And Gomti Aunty says I was scared of this change coming, and I see you wanting to become a big man, it's killing you inside. They both have a little tiff over him wanting to become a big man, and he asks her whether or not she will help him.

Purva telling Akaashi how Mihir is ready to bring Karan home and Akaashi is supporting her. The next day Mihir and Purva go to bring Karan home.

Everyone is sitting around all waiting, and Karan comes inside, in nice clothes, all clean shaven and everything. Purva is really nice about welcoming him and showing him around while everyone else is just really nervous and he looks lost and confused. They leave him in a room and go downstairs when he calls someone and syas the plan is successful and hes reached the Sanghvi house.

Precap: Shamad telling Akaashi about his new business and how he gave up his old job and he's planning on selling food and whatnot and Akaashi supports him.
