Phulwa-Inspired from 'Bandit Queen'

The show actually derived from hindi feature film 'Bandit Queen'. It is rarely available so this is for them who didn't seen yet-

The film directed by Shekhar kapoor having cast Seema biswas, manoj bajpai, nirmal panday and many other who renowened fame from film and now are tv artists like Abhijeet of CID, Ragubeer yadav. The film actually based on how a lower cast woman urge against the society which is mainly under thakurs. Journey of a child married girl ,to subdued woman who is raped again and again to a Dabang Bandit who thretens al the thakurs and became a legend. It was marvellous creation by shekhar kapoor but created many controvercies as it contain foul language , abusing words and intimate scenes of rape and especially the scene in which the actress was whole naked and bound to bring water for the thakurs. The film also got national awards and well appriciated in foregin critics.

Now it is a responsibility of swastik pictures that how they potray it by not being controvercial among govt. And people and how they create effect among audience to show such type of issues in a limited way lets see

No idea who's playing the older Phulwa. SOmeone said Mona Wasu, but I don't know.

Sounds awful, but im sure the drama cant be as explicit as the movie would cause chaos.

I don't think they are following the story of Bandit queen completely .. but they are highly inspired from them
