She follows him as they walk towards the car.

Sujal stops after few steps.

Kashish also stops thinking, shayad dinner pe jaana ka iraada badal lia.

He turns towards her.

s-come and walk with me.

k-eh..ok

she takes a few steps forward while sujal waits till she reaches him.

They sit in his black Mercedes and he starts driving towards the restaurant.

He was still thinking about the girl with him and his impulsive decision.

He glances to his side to that she is looking out of the window and biting her lips out of nervousness.

He smiles at her actions.

She was not at all like those over-confident wannabes, she was just herself, ma be nervous but still had a charm of her own.

They reach the restaurant. Sujal had chosen a casual yet classy restaurant.

They occupy the table near glass from where the beautiful view could be seen.

K smiles a bit awkwardly as their eyes meet, s also responds with a smile.

s-emm..like the place? [he doesn't know what to say, they started of in such a bizarre manner]

k-yes...nice ! [she answers as she looks around]

s-so..shall we start with drinks? What will you have champagne? Red wine? Or..

kashish interrupts him.

k-emm...actually I don't take hard drinks. Just plane water for me.

s-ok fine.

k-emm..you can have if you want to.

s-emm..no..i would rather not..i had my quota in the party..and I have to drive too...

k-okay [she smiles wetting her lips]

He knew she was feeling awkward.

s-so..lets start with soups and appetizers, then we ca jump to the main course and the desert.

Sujal starts scanning the menu.

k-emm..actually..i would not be able to eat more after the soup and aapetizer.

Sujal looks up from the menu.

k-emm..you can order for yourself..i.will give you company.

s-oh..model..dieting..i get...

she cuts him.

k-no!...thts my appetite..i just eat that much....emm..i didn't want to offend you in any way I am sorry..actually maa kehti hai..khana waste nahi karna chahie..i thought hum itna saara order karenge to, kitna saara waste hoga..to..maine aapko bata dia

s-ok thats cool. Atleast yoy can share some of it with me.

She smiles and nodes & sujal places the order.

He noticed she was not like the other girls who were always concerned about their look, who were always setting their make up and hair right. She just let her hair be after some strands had been flown off the right place in the car.

s-so ! you are not from Mumbai.

k-no ! I am from Raigaung.

s-okay. So you came here to become a model.

k-actress !

[her eyes twinkle with glee as she mentions her ambition]

The food is served to them.

Sujal comments as he sips his soup.

s-so, you don't talk much?

k-nahi nahi, main bohot zyada baatein karti hoon. Wo, actually..[she bites her lips cutely as she searches for the write word]...main kabhi kisi ke saath bahar nahi aai naa, islie.

s-aise? Aise kaise?

k-akele.

s-matlab tum date par aaj tak kisi ko lekar gai ho.

k-nahi nahi, main kabhi date par nahi gai

his eyes pop out slightly with surprise as he hears he answer.

s-ok-ay !

she smiles. She is much at ease as compared to the time they came.

s-emm..actually..I am not much into talking...tum kuch kaho.

k-main kya kahun.

[she shrugs her shoulders & bites her lips while she searches for topics they can converse on]

k-achcha! Aapke ghar mein kaun kaun hai? Family mein?

s-[he raises both his eyebrows & wets his lips] well...I stay alone...and..family..lets say..its a bit complicated.

She nods & gives a formal smile.

k-okay.

He is happy that she is not the type of a girl who would stick to the topic when he wants to avoid that.

s-tumhari family mein kaun hai?

She sits straight and starts answering with excitement.

k-chaar log. Main, mumma, papa aur meri chotti behen Kiran, jo school mein hai.

s-ok nice, very nice.

k-main aapko bore to nahi kar rahi?

s-nahi nahi not at all

she looks down awkwardly, then looks at him.

k-seriously, mujhe ye sab hi-fi cheezein nanhi bolni aati.

s-nahi, nahi. Kashish don't feel that way. I don't like people who pretend. You know this place is full of pretentious people.

k-hmm, ajeeb lagte hain iss sheher ke log mujhe.

Both smile as they could feel the ease between them increasing.

k-aap to bikul bhi waise nahi hai jaisa Sheena aapke baare mein...

She stops while saying, as she realizes she shouldn't be saying this.

s-mere baare mein? Kya keh rahi thi wo mere baare mein?

she again dilates her pupils , as she does when she is nervous and which always leads sujal to grin.

s-arre ! main hoon to nahi naa waise, tumne hi to kaha.

k-haan [she nods]

s-to keh do ki kya kehti hai wo.

k-nahi..bass ye hi ki aap khadus ho, chalak ho aur mooh-fatt aur muh chadde bhi ho.

K bachchon ki tarah darr darrke keh rahi hai.

Sujal starts laughing aloud.

Kashish also smiles seeing him laugh.

k-aap naraz to nhi ho naa ki maine aapko aisa kaha?

s-do I look angry?

She smiles while shaking her head.

They walk out from the restaurant after finishing the dinner.

As they are walking towards the car, kashish rubs her eyes as she is sleepy.

She doesn't know that her eye make-up gets smeared as she rubs her eyes.

s-kya hua? Let me see.

Sujal thinks ki kashish ki ankh mein kuch chala gaya hai, so starts checking her eyes.

s-no, there is nothing?

k-where?

s-ankh mein kuch nahi hai

k-maine kab kaha hai?

s-but you were rubbing your eyes.

k-[she chuckles] wo to mujhe jab neend aati hai to main aisa karti hoon

s-oh

sujal grins at her kiddish habits.

s-ankhon ka kajal phail gaya.

k-oh, waise bhi kya karna hai, jaake sona hi to hai. Daraavni to nahi lag rahi naa aapko.

Sujal chuckles.

s-nahi

They reach the car.

s-come. Sit.

k-mujhe auto stand tak chod denge?

s-nahi. Ghar tak chodunga.

k-nahi par...

s-nahi kya? Dinner ke lie maine kaha tha, tum tum aai naa, to ab ghar bhi main hi drop karynga. Come on sit.

Kashish sits in his car & sujal starts his car.
