Part 29:
It was a bright sunny saturday today and Nupur, as invited by her Bauji, left after having convinced Sameer and Shilpa Sharma for the world tour in the morning, had left for her own home, her childhood home....she really missed meeting them and was there right at the time of lunch...she had already discussed her plan with Shilpa Sharma and even Sameer Sharma knew about her weekend plan....but the one person who was unknown to this fact was Mayank....
He left for the office in the morning and was totally stranger to the plan....

Gunjan had an off at college since her college festivals were going on and she had to participate directly in an event tommorrow, so she had 1 whole day to her and her Di along with her Bauji who would be joining them early in the evening...it was like a child coming after days from hostel to home....life was dull to them without Nupur in it, as it would be anyone who had seen even a little life from her point of view....
Nupur completed her work at office till noon and went directly to her father's house...

It had been quite a while now after Nupur's return at Bhushan House and Gunjan looked at Nupur in amusement for what she saw now...
At every little point and in every small thing and whether good or bad...Nupur kept on mentioning Mayank every now and then...
It was quite new to Gunjan, since Nupur usually used to cut off the topics related to Mayank...her question buried deep, as to why Nupur had actually agreed to marriage had resurfaced again.....smirking at Nupur she suddenly said, "Di, mujhe aisa kyun lag raha hai jaise kisine tumhe detective banakar jeeju ke ghar bheja tha aur ab tum apni observations mujhe bata rahi ho.......ke.....Jeeju afterall, ek achche ladke hain.........waise jab Bauji kehte the toh nahi manti thi....aakhir aisa bhi kya kar diya jeeju ne?"Gunjan asked teasingly...
Nupur looked at her bewildered, "Matlab....aisa kya bola maine.....ab jiske saath rahoongi uski baatein nahi karoongi toh kya Akbar ke Darbar ka haal bataaongi..." and she laughed at Gunjan's remarks
Gunjan chukled at her and replied, "Haan.....par rehti toh tum Shilpa Aunty aur Sameer Uncle ke saath bhi thi naa.....par jab se tumne bataya hai ki jeeju ne tumse dosti kar li...toh aisa lagta hai ki tumhari best wish puri ho gayi hai....bas itni si baat se?"
Nupur replied laughing, "Aisa nahi hai...par woh sach mein achcha hai...bas uski aankhon mein dikhta hai ki uss tak pahoonchne ke saare darwaze band hain....par main bhi Nupur hoon....har darwaze ki chavi hoti hai mere paas"
Gunjan smiled replying a little mischievously and confidentially, "Waise Di, mujhse kya chupana...maine shadi ka video dekha tha...tum aur jeeju toh mandap mein hi smiles exchange kar rahe the....aur jeeju ko toh tumhare haath ki jewellery bhi beech mein aa gayi thi aisa lag raha tha....agar tumhare style mein kahoon toh 'phool bhi ho darmiyaan toh faasle hue'....hai naa"
Nupur snapped off Gunjan's allegations and replied, "Gunjan....aisi koi baat nahi hai...woh toh actually...."
Gunjan cut her off saying, "achcha achcha.......ab mujhe details mat batana..aap dono Husband-Wife hain.....aur yeh toh achchi baat hai....main aapke liye bahut khush hoon Di" Saying this Gunjan hugged Nupur and said, "aakhir tumhare bachpan ka sapna pura ho gaya..."
Nupur shaked her head and said, "Gunjan...tu pagal ho gayi hai...chal meri baat chod bhi de.....par Mayank toh hamesha hi Sadu rahega naa...usse mujhse toh iss janam mein Love ho nahi sakta...uske logical dimaag se ye saare emotions koson dur hai...usne mujhse dosti kar li iska matlab yeh nahi jo tu soch rahi hai...sach mooch...Mayank se sabko hamesha hi kuch jyada hi umeed ho jaati hai ByGod...aur tu bhi apne dimaag ka ilaaj karwa...samjhi"
Gunjan looked a bit confused now and asked, "toh Di...tumne shadi ke liye haan kyun ki...agar tumhe aisa lagta hai jeeju ke baare mein?"
Nupur was surprised at her sudden question as if Gunjan must be knowing the answers already, "Gunjan...tu toh jaanti thi naa situation...phir bhi aise pooch rahi hai?"
Gunjan replied still with a questioned look, "Haan Di, jaanti hoon tabhi toh pooch rahi hoon...aur tumhe bhi jaanti hoon...agar tumhe apne barso ka sapna sach mein toot ta
hua nazar aata toh tum haan kabhi nahi karti....kisi bhi tarah Bauji ko mana hi leti...meri Di apne unn sapno ke liye kuch bhi kar sakti hai par tumne uss waqt aisa kuch nahi
kiya....toh maine socha ki...waise bhi....tum hi toh hamesha itni koshishein karti thi naa Jeeju se friendship karne ki...bachpan mein...toh maine socha..."
Nupur didn't have any answer to Gunjan's question.....rather she hadn't asked those questions even to herself, ever....yes, why did she say yes so quickly when she knew
Mayank would never ever love her...and why did trust came so easily to her when Mayank said yes...she didn't feel like thinking further now...here thoughts were as unfathomable as her feelings then when she had said yes...and it certainly was disturbing her now....she tried to stop her thinking and smiling to Gunjan said, "Gunjan...tu bhi naa...kitna sochne lagi hai...itna sochegi toh phd kar legi mujhpar...tu NASA mein kaam nahi karti...itna tension mat le....isliye kripaya dharti par waapas aa jaayiye aur chal Bauji aaye usse pehle hum pani puri kha kar aate hain...warna Bauji kahenge ki kuch healthy khana tha..." and laughingly she dragged Gunjan out of the room to their way to a nearby Pani-Puri stall...

Mayank came home at his usual timings in the evening and when Shilpa Sharma informed him of Nupur's sudden visit to the Bhushan House and that she wouldn't be returning until tommorow, Shilpa Sharma noticed Mayank wincing clearly...probably he expected to see her..but he tried to be casual best as he could...he wondered it bothered him that she didn't give any prior information about this...

Nupur had a great dinner with her Bauji and Gunjan today after long....
Shashi Bhishan was very happy, for Nupur seemed to be her unchanged happy self as ever as he wanted her to be....

Mayank entered his room at sleep time...he found it very silent today...somehow he found that there was less brightness in the room today....
He was very prone to a quiet room always...and he liked it that way....but today, it was somehow vacuum in feelings too...he tried to ignore the fact that it may be Nupur's absense that seemed to affect the environment around him...
He went over to library and read a good book and went over to sleep after crowding his mind with words that piled up knowledge of some kind....
