my psychology book came today yes i am excited about a book 😆
I am ready to get brainwashed 😳

I already got brainwashed from the lecture yesterday 😆😆
I love it tho 😃

ooo i learned something that we always think is true 🤔 and I am about to break your bubble too 😈

so she was telling us about common misconceptions of psychology...and this was one of them

People usually fall in love with someone very different from themselves. Put another way, opposites attract.
It is FALSE. In fact, the data on attraction suggests that we are very much likely to fall in love with someone similar to us.

I was in complete shock hearing that 😆

and then i started thinking of couples i know...and i have seen my bro and bhabhi's nature and never thought of it that way, but they are actually very similar...they have a few differences but they aren't opposites of each other....and then thought of my mom and dad and I was like they too were like that....

hahaha how sad is it to be broken from that bubble? 🤔
