Seems like there was a small discussion based on my post and the only person who didn't comment was Summer himself. 😕

Titls of this topic reminds me of a famous song from movie Bobby, produced and directed by Raj Kapoor sahib. There is a true story behind the production of this film. I read in Filmfare that he lost his fortune including his wife's jewellery in the production of film Meera Naam Joker. Although mera naam joker did well in later years on the box office but it was a super flop at the time of its first release. Indian people didn't appreciate his time and effort. Raj sahab was very upset with Indian audience because they had dumped a classic art film. He promised that if Indian audience want a formula film he will produce it to recover his losses and he came up with the story line of bobby with all new caste, new lyricists and new singers. This movie was a super hit and broke all box office records. Every Indian teenagers were crazy about Dimple and Rishi's outfits and wanted to look like them. LOL

Mera Naam Joker was made for the classes and Bobby was made for the masses...the Indian audience has proved time and again that a movie made for the classes rarely succeeds at the box office although it recieves critical acclaim...

If anyone is planning to go to Dubai then one piece of advice..

Anything you do, do NOT go there during the months of july/august!!! I thought Mumbai's heat was bad but Dubai's heat really is just something else. The worst part is that you'd think it'd get cooler in the evening but it doesn't!
