@Tulip: I posted about andropause just to show that men also go through biological changes. Both male and female bodies go through changes at different stages of groW*H, it's just their body is different so the changes are different.
I don't think menopause or andropause are the reason for lower sexual activity in elderly. Sexual desire is not directly correlated to reproductive system. Infertile and impotent men and women have sexual desires.
The lack of sexual activity in elderly is due to a number of physical, social and psychological factors. Hormone production is lower so there are longer gaps between sexual peaks. Beyond a certain age sexual activity is more exhausting, so people tend to prefer other forms of intimacy like cuddling or just holding hands. Psychologically also being the tail end of life, people tend to have a bigger focus on getting to know people better emotionally. Socially many parts of the world frown down upon the elderly being sexually active or having sexual desire like younger people. Asian elderly tend to have sharper declines in sexual activity than other parts of the world, due to this social expectation.

@Sunny – I have not had a chance to view this clip since I'm at work. But yes even impotent men can be charged for rape. If the impotency is just infertile sperm then there should be no doubt its possible. If it is erectile dysfunction or other issues, one can use medications and devises, or just create a very uncomfortable situation. Rape can also be done with foreign objects.

....about that menses,woman's blood is visible there is no need to prove it and she knws that the period has come and that the depression and the negativity and everything arises.... she becomes very very dark, dismal, inside....but Man's release is not that visible, bt certain energy is released each month... for three, four days, man also becomes a victim of depression, negativity....thats why I told If keep a record for a few months u will be able to see that exactly after 28 days u again become negative for three, four days… out of the blue, for no reason at all...Men n women are equal yaar
