I think its Prapti's boyfriend who raped Nandini. I mean thats the only new character and he might be friends with Krishna.

no he is a positive character and will be sonakshi's brother - i saw it in an article today on IF

yup...he is a positive character so maybe someone else will be brought in later on to play the rapist
