Nandini, his books are not so easy to get as SH books.


13 problems was a saga of some peoples crime experiences.
there was a simple technique with Agata stories...the murderer will be suspected and avoided in first part and then avoided completely...atlast he will be the killer.

moving finger is an excellent example.

but i love the british atmosphere in both the holmes and christie novels...and the british speaking nuances are very resplendent....these are two of the best whodunits

British village life...with no job and people struggles to kill time...it was thruout in Agata stories. SH was different.

Nandini, I didn't get you...whats wrong with what?

not in poirot stories only in marple ones...ST MARY MEAD VILLAGE ....and even in holmes people were seen leading secluded life in remote places

Agata stories focus on lazy people, retired, old , tired or countess type ladieds who dont know what poverty is. Mrs. Maginty was the exception.

In Holmes stories, he was always there to help poor, to reinstore Dharma and satya. That made him most popular. There is an address in GB , 221 B ,Baker street , and people send letters to him. A P.S is appointed there to write answer.
