Anmol and Shefali, herez the receipe...

Ingredients:
1 Kaddu (Bottle Guard)
75 grms Besan
6 green chillies
1 cup Coriander leaves
1/2 piece Lime

Ingredients for Gravy

100 grms Onion
1 tsp Ginger garlic
1 tsp Dhania powder
20 gms Kus kus
30 grms grated Coconut
100 grms Tomatoes
1 cup Curd
2 tsp Chilli powder
a small pinch Turmeric powder
75 grms Oil
Salt to taste
Instructions:
1. First peel the kaddu and grate, mix little salt and leave it for 10
minutes.

2. Later take away the water from it by putting it in a clean cloth and squeeze.

3. Fry besan and green chillies finely chopped in a kadai and put it in the gratted mixture put lime juice in it. Now Mix it well.

4. Make small balls and deep fry them in oil.

Curry

1. Take a pan and heat oil in it. Put onions and fry when they are golden brown, put ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, tumeric powder, dhania powder and fry for a while.

2. Later put kuskus and coconut paste and fry for some more time. When it starts leaving oil from sides put tomato pieces cook for a minute.

3. Now put curd and cook it in low flame. Now the gravy is ready. You can add the above koftas to the gravy cook for 2 mins in low flame.

Kaddu Kofta – Bottle Gourd Kofta or Kaddu Kofta Recipe Cooking Tips

Kaddu Kofta is the most popular North Indian vegetarian recipe. Kaddu is the Hindi name of Bottle Gourd or Calabash English word. Kaddu is known as Loucky or Ghiya also.

I just cooked a recipe with Kaddu. It is Kaddu Kofta. You can call it Bottle Gourd Kofta recipe also.

Kaddu Kofta is very similar to Banana Kofta recipe. But both are different recipes. Bottle Gourd Kofta is very soft in comparison of Banana Kofta. Just follow some simple ways of cooking Kaddu Kofta recipe.

Bottle Gourd Kofta is as delicious as nutrition. The recipe has full of protein and vitamin minerals. So, try it once. It is Kaddu Kofta recipe. Calabaza is considered as fruit also.

Kaddu Kofta Ingredients:

1 spoon cumin seeds

Garam Masala 2 spoons

1 spoon turmeric powder

spoon red chili

1 spoon garlic paste

spoon ginger paste

3 pieces chopped onion

2 pieces chopped tomato

100 gm Besan (Gram flour)

Coriander leaves

100 gm mustered oil

5 pieces of Tez Pata leaves


Bottle Gourd Kofta Cooking Methods:


Buy a Bottle Gourd from your nearest market to cook Kaddu Kofta recipe.


Remove skin from Kaddu to cook.


Chopped the Kaddu after having removed skin it.


Arrange above mentioned ingredients for Kaddu Kofta recipe.


Mix the chopped Kaddu with above mentioned ingredients. Make it paste with Besan and turmeric powder.


Make pieces of Kofta from chopped Kaddu.


Now, fry it in Pan on medium flame. Fry the Kaddu Kofta till red colour.


Keep fried pieces of Kaddu Kofta in a pot.


Now, chop onions for Bottle Gourd Kofta ingredients.


Fry Bottle Gourd Kofta ingredients in a pan. Put mustered oil and Tez Pata to fry it. Add salt according to your taste. It should be fried till red colour. Add chopped tomato also.


Add 2 coups water after having fried Bottle Gourd Kofta ingredients. Now, leave it for 2 minutes.


Add fried pieces of Kaddu Kofta and green coriander leaves after 2 minutes. Now, leave it for 2-3 minutes again on medium flame.


It is Kaddu Kofta recipe or Bottle Gourd Kofta recipe.


The whole process of Kaddu Kofta recipe will take about 30-35 minutes. The recipe is as delicious as spy and nutrition also. You can call it Locky Kofta recipe also. It is green recipe and the most popular in Northern part of India. This is the simplest cooking tips for Bottle Gourd Kofta.
