Since the beginning of the show Pihu's character has always been a selfish, arrogant and self absorbed woman. She is at complete odds with the lead female of the show Gauri. While Gauri cares about Rudra Pihu has shown her happiness is more important than Rudra's and now that she is in cahoots with RR only shows that Pihu sees only her own benefit in everything she does. Her world revolves around how things affect her never Rudra. This has never been a positive role for Pihu. Additi has so much potential yet from the beginning of Sangini she has played this sort of childish, egotistical character who stayed and was portrayed in gray shades. Well not anymore Pihu is definitely going to the dark side with her willing alliance with the RR.

Never liked this character and not because she was "bad" but because she was poorly written and developed.  All she does is go about making decisions that she cannot stick too. She's does nothing but whine and moan and after a while she is actually very boring too watch.  Then, on the other side we've go the super nice Gauri.  The writers never had any idea what to do with her. I had always pictured this show to be like Devdas where she would be pushed into a marriage against her wishes and forced to survive in it.  I had expected a track that would protray a character much like that of Ashwariya Rai in Devdas; one who was likeable and with whom we could have compassion and interest.  Tragically it's actually been a bore of a character and her husband is an even bigger bore. I love the actor who plays him and hope he can stay on the show (from his facebook page it looks like they're letting him go).  He got a raw deal with this show as well. It would have been more interesting for him to have found out AFTER he was married to her that she was once in love with someone else.  The betrayal at finding out the woman whom he had agreed to marry was once emotionally betrothed to someone else would have been a far more interesting storyline. It would also have given justification and reason for him to have married her in the first place - he simply did not know she was in love with someone else.
