Actress Prachi Desai has reportedly delayed the shooting of her debut Tamil film Thadaiyara Thaakastarring Arun Vijay. The Bollywood star has signed the movie project in February and was to be on the set by now. But source say that she is nursing her unwell dad in Mumbai. She is reportedly not receiving calls of movie bosses, which has left the bosses in dilemma.
According to sources, Prachi Desai had came to Chennai for a couple of days recently, when she listened the script narration. Immediately after that, she was to begin shooting of Thadaiyara Thaaka, but she flew back to Mumbai quoting her father's ill health. Although it is more than two weeks, she is neither returned to the set nor responding to calls of the producer.
However, the shooting of the movie Thadaiyara Thaaka is going on smoothly as Arun Vijay is busy completing his other portions. But Prachi's unavailability is causing financial losses for the production house. Sources say that an entire set was ready, but it went waste as Prachi did not come to shoot. Now, the production house is reportedly considering on replacing the actress.

Hope a date can be worked out for everybody sake so they can
get back to shooting the movie. But please don't jump to conclusion and say Prachi behavior is irresponsible. We're not walking in her shoes at this moment to know what is going on with her in private.😔

We had earlier told you that the team of Arun Vijay's upcoming project 'Thadaiyara Thaakka' had roped in B'town beauty Prachi Desai. Although the team was all glee, few were a little surprised as bigger banners tried featuring Prachi Desai, who didn't seem too interested.
What our birdies have to say is that, the actress listened to the script and her role and gave her nod but flew back home immediately due to a family emergency and Arun started off with the production work of the film. But later, when the team tried contacting Prachi, she avoided them entirely.
It is said that the actress was roped in for a huge sum and a good advance, which is yet to be returned by her!
While this is on one side, Arun Vijay's team is busy with the hunt for an actress who would fit the role, will they approach a B'town beauty again, or choose one of the Kollywood newbies, or introduce a debutant? Only time will tell the tale.
