I once heard a story from my parents that when Ram and his vanars were building the bridge to Lanka, Ram was feeling a bit bored sitting around while his vanars were working, so he decided to help them out and threw a boulder into the ocean. But unfortunately, it sunk! Ram could not understand this as all the boulders of the other Vanars did not sink, but then Hanumanji came up to him, bowed low, and explained that all the other boulders had Ram Naam on it, while the boulder Ram threw did not have his name written on it, so unless the boulders had Ram Naam, they would sink even if Ram himself threw them. Shri Ram was very pleased by this and blessed all of the vanars and Hanuman.😍

This is, I believe, Debi's best moment in Ramayan, she really gave it her all and made us cry along with her!👏😭 She wrote in her blog that during the filming of this scene, while all others used those eye drops that make tears appear for purpose of acting, Debina did not need any eye drops because she was crying of her own free will, feeling connected with the character of Sitaji during this scene like no other and shedding tears for the great lady's fate. Debina also said sometimes she thought she would need psychiatric help during some of the shootings, because she would cry in the middle of shooting whenever Sitaji was faced with injustice and it affected her so much to act it out.😭

Her acting was soooo natural in this scene👏, but I do not like to watch this episode often because it's so very painful I feel like crying along with her.😭

This scene began from the 23rd of June 2009 and ended on the 25th.

Really this scene is sooooooooo sad, and Debi diii did such a remarkable job portraying Sita mata's pain, I always cry when I see this !!!😭😭😭 Such a tragic end to such a beautiful love story, I always wonder why it had to happen!😭 Edited by ILuvGuruDebi - 13 years ago
