Haiyo Rabba! Five lakh diamond ring - a giveaway???

Zee TV's Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar seems to be a platform where celebrities come to cheer the contestants and instead end up giving away some pricey goodies! 
On this Friday's episode of the show, apna Daler Paji who is known to shower the contestants with gifts and goodies from time to time, shocked his fellow judges when he gifted Abhilasha with a gigantic diamond ring that is rumored to cost in the range of Rs 5-7 lakhs!! Dalerji was so happy with Abhilasha's performance that he couldn't help but take off the diamond ring he was wearing & presented it to an overjoyed Abhilasha!
Abhilasha in keeping with her track record of trying out something new, performed a rendition that consisted of an adlib of a Carnatic song along with 'Kismat se tum mile ho' and her trademark laavni number 'Reshmachi Reghani' - a performance that had not just the audience but the judges & guests on their feet as well. While her performance reminded Shekhar of Ashaji's versatility, Wajid proclaimed that she belonged in the Top 3 therein reinforcing his belief in her as well. Her stellar performance also earned her the highest number of votes which made her the first Finalist to enter the Top 3!
Recently eliminated contestant Sniti Mishra who was also Daler's favourite has been on the receiving end of his famous generosity on many an occasion with gifts like a pearl bracelet, gold chain & gaundh ke laddoos. 
"Now with the contest reaching its culmination, Dalerji has been spending extra time to ensure that he leaves no stone unturned when it comes to Abhilasha's performances in these last few episodes. He is very keen to see that she goes a long way in the competition." said our source from the sets.

So Abhilasha got the highest votes this time too...I think the main reason is she connects with a larger audience with her range of songs and her voice.

 

Kamal sticking to punjabi songs could be narrowing his appeal..Not all understand or have heard the songs he sings...But I still feel he will win..and will do extremely well in Bollywood.

But she is in his own Gharana.

 

Hope the other mentors too do something.
