Samir studied in US so he is used to the American accent and sounds great.
But dont blame ST bcuz she had to say the 'steeltoe' bcuz it was written in tht paper its not like the paper said heels/pumps buh said it the wrong way.
Then there is Veena who is such a wannabe she will never-ever learn to say certain things the right way. I bet some words jalapeno and lingerie she wud pronounce them the way they are written so it is impossible to expect correct pronounciation from her.
Kya post hai
Defend Shweta for not pronouncing a word properly (she said it atleast 3/4 times hun, don't kid yourself about it being written as "steeltoe") and then bash Veena saying she will never learn to say things the right way
Veena & Shweta both mis-pronounce words since it is neither of theirs first language, but when Shweta does it it's because "that's how english is taught in India"
Wow, as if Veena's studied abroad and should be expected to KNOW how to pronounce everything right!
Seriously.. I don't get this logic. I agree with whoever said they should make a conscious effort to NOT speak English.. in BB, it seems like they always make a conscious effort to speak it. What happened to the famous phrase "inferiority complex" that is used so often for Veena, MT and whoever else?! It applies here too, big time. In this sense, I've got a lot of respect for someone like MT (never thought I would say that).. at least he doesn't shy away from the fact that he can't speak English, Salman always targeted him on Fridays as well with his jokes (as if Salman's English is so great.. what a freaking joke! They all speak in the bloody same way and still look down on each other!).. but MT took it sportingly. Hats off to him, and yeah.. Thakurain as well
