Sometimes people can really burden or hurt a person to the point that they commit or attempt to commit suicide. Sometimes even people who do not live up to the "expectations" of society will commit suicide because they feel they do not belong. It's really sad. I feel bad for them.

Yes often financial issues and stress or lunacy causes one to commit suicide.
Some people "hear" voices asking them to jump down.

I always avoid dangerous places and heights with no safety features.

....so that you don't get swayed by the voices while you are at a place where it's easy to take a plungeπŸ˜†

^^ Actually, in psychology I have learned that many people who are afraid of height are actually afraid of the impulse to jump.

j/k Summer.

We never know as some disgruntled spirit could lure us. I have learnt not to trust the mind fortunately.
It is easy to get carried away.
Years back someone I knew who was so stable and capable jumped down upon hearing voices in his head asking him to jump.
There are families where several members somehow or other commit suicide. Could be karmic.

I have no fear but prefer not to take chances. But I do avoid dangerous sports.
