Stalemate Sunday indeed although I have to say Spurs vs. Utd was gripping. Far as I'm concerned, it's the Spurs who lost two points because they should have put the game to bed way before Rafael was unfairly sent off. On a related note, I can't believe the ref didn't catch Vidic grabbing VDV's shirt and pulling him down in the penalty area. That aside, Vidic and the entire backline gave it their all.
RM probably deserved the draw for how we played but the ref missed at least one clear penalty. Oh well, the new XI didn't work well what with Kaka and Ozil switching positions and looking confused. I don't know what Mourinho has against Pedro Leon but he needs to get over it and start playing Leon (and Canales), especially on days when Di Maria/Ozil is non-existent. Good call on bringing Granero and Carvalho in, though. Cris worked hard to get a goal but he, too, was not quite as accurate as he usually is. oh well, I'm glad we got a bad performance by the entire team out of the way before meeting Lyon.
