I remember her first interview...the only one you could read of her was totally different from what she said in this.

she said she had told her parents she wanted to move to mumbai after she got the admission. And then she went and luckily got the role for kumud. In this she is saying her father was against her.

A lot more other thigns...wierd

I guess she is more open in her interviews now. Maybe, at first she didn't want to reveal that her dad was against her decision to go to Mumbai.
