^So a witch bound the sun and moon curse with Petrova blood and to break the curse, a Petrova doppleganger is needed. Katherine was originally the one who was suppose to die and break the curse but she changed and Elena is the next one so she has die to break the curse.

hee...me too confused about Dopplenganger stuff. Is dopplenganger like people that look same from the same blood line. First it was Katerina, now Elena...if her line continues there could be another like Elena and Kat and she will be called dopplenganger.

^Yes. Dopplegangers are basically twins [same bloodline] but twins are born at the same time right? So doppelgangers are twins that are born after centuries or so.

^It hasn't been revealed properly but Katherine's bloodline did not end with her.

As we know, she had a baby which was given away and then i'm guessing it went on to Isobel to Elena. Get it?

I'm guessing there were a couple of babies in between Katherine's baby and Isobel....seeing as Katherine had her like 500 years ago... : ) Just kidding with ya...

Ahh okay, I thought I missed out on something important - I'm usually texting my friends during the episodes when something good happens with an "OMG DID YOU SEE THAT" and sometimes I tend to go overboard and miss stuff LOL.

Okay okay, makes sense though cuz I was like as far as I remember Isobel or John haven't been connected to Katherine in anyway .. so I was all confused to how Elena was linkedd with Katherine

Haha...exactly. There were a couple of babies...add another 400 or so to the couple, before Isobel...LMAO
