Get Ready For Saas Bina Sasural From Tonight

Indian television viewers will experience a different kind of family drama from tonight as Sony Entertainment television is going to launch a new show titled 'Saas Bina Sasural'. Viewers will get a much needed break from the 'saas bahu' drama and will be entertained by a family with seven male members.

The only male member of the family Tej dares to get married with a beautiful and bubbly girl called Taanya. Like any other girl of her age, she enters her sasural with lots of hope but she will have to face a one madhouse consisting of seven quirky men and without a saas.

Tanya won't have 'saas', 'nanand', 'jethani' or 'devrani'. So, it's time to take break from those teary eyes and have some fun with this unusual family. Viewers will get to see something different from the decade old mother-in-law-daughter-in-law relationship.

The show will start airing from tonight on Sony TV at 10 pm. It will have some renowned TV actors like veteran Darshan Zariwala, Ravi Dubey, Rajendra Chawla and Aishwarya Sakhuja. Ravi Dubey is now seen in Zee TV's show '12/24 Karol Bagh', in which he plays the role of Omi.

So, how will be life for Taanya at her sasural when she will have to manage with these seven men of which six are not very fond of women?

A preview : Saas bina Sasural

"Saas" and "Sasural", both these words have been synonymous with pain, agony and sorrow especially in a girl's life. But the word "Bina" adds an interesting twist to it. This new series of drama from the house of Sony Entertainment.

 Television and Optimystix is sure to keep you glued to your seats as never before in the history of Indian television a family drama sans a saas has been portrayed.

Let us have a look at popular family dramas in the past decade, Kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi, Kahaani ghar ghar ki, Kasautii zindagi kii, Kahin kisi roz , Balika Vadhu to name a few, all these epics had one relationship that was predominantly highlighted. There are no guesses to it, indeed it is Saas ' Bahu ka Rishta. Therefore it will be exciting how SET has managed to add that extra spice to its drama without encapsulating an important part of an Indian family drama.

Saas Bina Sasural to be launched on 18^th October is a story of 7 males and one female named Taanya. This story is a roller coaster ride experienced by Taanya who gets married into a family of only Men.

Taanya gets married to the love of her life Tej oblivious of the fact that his family had only men. Coming from a joint family Taanya always wanted to get married in a house where she could enjoy and cherish all the relations of a joint family. But little did she know that after marriage she will not have anybody to mother her in the house. The story is full of twists and turns showcasing how a 23 year old girl becomes a warden of the men varying in the age group between 12 to 60.

According to Mr. Vipul Shah, Producer, Optimystix, " We have sketched each and every character of the show as if it was in your own house. The show displays every emotion from love to hate, from joy to sadness while Taanya goes through the stimulating walk of her life without a mother-in-law's guidance."

The lead character Taanya has been played by Aishwarya Sakhuja. The seven males of the family are (eldest to youngest) Arvind, Darshan Zariwala, Rajendra Chawla, Rishi, Ravi Dubey, Sharman Jain and Meghan. Each male character has a funny peculiarity about them. The main lead is played by Ravi Dubey (Tej) who is the love interest of Taanya.

Over the years, Sony Entertainment Television has been known to formulate unique concepts, larger than life formats, differentiated and compelling serials. Though it definitely sounds like a unique concept, only time will tell whether SET has been able to live up to its name or not. So all the viewers out there let us all watch this new show Saas Bina Sasural on Monday 18^th October 10.00 pm to decide whether it is yet another crying saga or a laughter Riot.

As we know, the young girl Taanya in the show, played by Aishwarya Sakhuja gets married into a family full of only men and deals with all the men without the guidance of a mother in law. But what we did not know is that this 'all men' thing has taken a real turn in Aishwarya's off screen life as well because just like Taanya's Sasural, the set of the show also consists of only men.

I just wonder how she would be handling so many men single handedly on the show. I mean a girl always needs another girl around her to share all the things. But never mind time will make her use to this situation. As the show will progress she would definitely find someone to share her thoughts. Somewhere I feel she would not be complaining much for all the attention she would be getting. After all a girls always get attention when they are in minority.

Apparently, Aishwarya and her hair dresser are the only women on the sets of her 'sasural'. Well, all we can do is wish Aishwarya aka Taanya all the best as she deals with men both on screen and off screen.
