PS...First of all, I am really sorry guys for the delay as I had no such intentions. However after receiving such encouraging and confidence boosting feedback, I felt obligated to try my level best. I have modified the last two paragraphs of Part 1 to align more with my story and clarify any prior ambiguities. So, thank you everyone for your patience and hope it was worth the wait. Part 1:
This starts after the Armaan fiasco. All are back in the hospital and Sid's sprained leg is all healed. But Sid and Ridz are still not on talking terms. Ridz wants to clarify the situation and sort things out between the two of them. She is completely aware of all the misconceptions/doubts floating in Sid's mind and the hurt she has incidentally caused him by not informing him of her leave. She tried explaining to Sid that she initially denied going to Sanjeevani orphanage but only at insistence of Dr. Kirti and her responsibility as a doctor in such condition left her no choice but to follow her duty over personal life. In addition, her mental state didn't help w/ the return of Armaan in which she committed a huge mistake, especially when Sid came to speak to her. She tried countless times but Sid's not willing to listen just yet ' too stubborn to get out of his angry young man shell and unable to forget what his eyes saw ' the feeling of being betrayed by the person whom you love and cherish the most. Initially, Armaan attempted to sort things between the two to unite them but without much success. Later he wisely thought it's better if no third person come between them.
The next day, as everyone gathers at the reception desk, Dr. Kirti assigns the interns and senior doctors their respective duties. Being aware of the current rift between Sid and Rids, she deliberately assigns them together for a one-day outdoor medical camp in hopes for providing them with some time alone and away from the hospital to sort their problems. Ridz hesitates initially at the thought and tries to reason herself out of it. However, upon Sid taunting attitude in regards to her responsibility as a professional, she readily accepts and thinks perhaps this will give her a chance to explain and clarify the misunderstandings without any interruptions. Dr. Kirti dismisses them both to go pack their belongings for the trip and meet her back in the hospital by noon for the remaining details.
Despite Sid's reluctant behavior and strong disapproval in the wake of Lonavola's incident, Ridz decides to continue to live with him in the penthouse. In her effort to eliminate differences between them and fearing separation might lead to further misunderstandings, she realizes that the context of close proximity may possibly be her only way out of this predicament. Also her concern towards his health and a strong will to rectify things accompanied by guilt of holding herself responsible for his impaired physical and mental condition plays a role in her decision. However, it's her deeply rooted love for him that gives her the courage to endure all pain caused by his atrocious behavior and the ability to tolerate his taunting manners and attitude in the form of punishment. Acknowledging he has every right to be angry at her, she silently puts up with his tantrums and willingly allows herself to be vulnerable to his pain inducing actions. She reciprocates his ill-treatment with gestures of affection and tenderness in an attempt to normalize their lives once again. In accepting his aggressive behavior to be just as well as admitting her own mistake, she finds the strength and determination to follow through with her plan to regain his trust.
Part 2:
They enter the penthouse together ' Ridz takes her clothes out of the closet and while turning she collides with Sid, who was trying to reach for his suitcase placed on top of the armoire. As they move away from each other, Ridz's dupatta gets stuck onto his shirt button. Sid attempts to untie it, but as usual Ridz has to step closer to him at last to untangle the knot successfully ' signifying the need of her initiative and contribution for their relationship groW*H. While packing, she notices Sid's flustered appearance as he is busy rumbling through things and scattering everything in the process. Ridz inquires as to what he's searching for but he ignores her in return. Still, Ridz manages to read his mind and hesitatingly hands his favorite blazer over to him. He snatches the blazer from her in disgust and walks off from the room.
Shortly afterwards, they come back together to the hospital to collect medical supplies and to obtain health camp details from Dr. Kirti. The prevalent suffocating silence is unbearable to both of them as either one doesn't know where and how to start; both are struggling to find ways to communicate their thoughts to each other. Ridz contemplates whether this would be a good opportunity to sort things between the two as they're completely alone and away from everyone. But judging from Sid's annoyed and angry expression, she decides otherwise. On the other hand, Sid unable to control his emotions resorts to driving insanely fast to communicate his inner turmoil. The image of Ridz in Armaan's arms keeps on flashing in his mind and tormenting him with each passing moment. He struggles to understand and find it utterly difficult to make sense of what has just transpired in front of his eyes. Even the slightest thought of deception from Ridz was beyond his mental ability to decipher and digest.
Ridz calls out to Sid, "Please dheere chalo Sid." Sid startles by sudden broken silence but instantly regains composure and shoots an angry glance over to her and speeds up even more. In response, Ridz too adopts the stubborn act and forcefully urges Sid to drive slowly by holding his elbow, "Sid, please dheere drive karo'kamse kam doosre innocent people ka to socho." Sid lashes back, "Jaise tumne mera bare me socha." Ridz saddens hearing this but manages to reply, "Thank god, tumne mujhse baat to ki."
Part 3:
As they pull into their destination, the night has begun to fall. Upon arriving, both are immediately greeted by the Camp Coordinator who assists them with the check-in process. She introduces herself as Shilpa and expresses her delight in having a team of young couple from Sanjeevani to participate in this event. Judging from their astonished and confused appearance, she further explains that this year's theme for the annual camp is family care, being led and conducted by a team of doctors conjoining another family member from the same field - providing time for family bonding as well as the opportunity to learn and network with other professionals, while serving a great cause. As she is speaking, Dr. Kirti's deliberate implication behind sending them together slowly seems to line up and they clearly understand her underlying intentions. Shilpa then conveys a brief overview of the night's agenda and directs them to their room accommodation.
After freshening up, both walk out to meet others for dinner and social get together. Shilpa welcomes everyone and explains the underlying message of the annual camp. She relays that the core values of the camp are to raise awareness of general health issues as well as to provide free clinical service to the public, especially among the underprivileged group. Also to further the camp's aim this year, their goal is to emphasize the importance of preventive measures and ability to detect and treat illnesses in the earlier stage. Following her detailed presentation on the camp's objectives and instructions for the next day agenda and individual assignments, Shilpa requests everyone to finish off rest of their dinner and assemble back around the bonfire for more social warm-up activities.
Later, everyone go around in circle giving a brief introduction of themselves and their family partner sitting around a bonfire.
Sid: "Main Sid Modi, 1 yr. Intern at Sanjeevni aur yeh meri w…"
Sid hesitates looking at Ridz.
Ridz finishes his sentence, "Main Ridz Modi, Sid's wife and Sr. doctor specializing in Peditrician at Sanjeeni." Both have a brief eyelock while everyone's in aww and delighted to have such a young and cute professional couple amongst the group.
As everyone gets up to go to their respective rooms after the dinner/social, Ridz sprains her ankle tripping over a rock. She instantly grabs onto Sid's arm for support. Sid turns around and manages to help her stand. While retracting his steps, he slowly becomes aware of everyone's undeviating attention towards them filled with concern. But when Ridz attempts to limply walk, she yet again loses her balance and falls on Sid grabbing back collar of his shirt. Seeing this, Shilpa and others insist Sid to carry her as she is having difficulty walking but Ridz interrupts saying, "it's a mild sprain and I can manage so please don't worry." Before she can even finish, Sid lifts her up as he feels compelled by surrounding company and wants to avoid dragging this drama any farther. Ridz looks on in shock while pleasantly surprised by his action. Everyone whistles on and cheer as Sid carries her towards their room, while Ridz tightens her grip around him and intently admires his features the entire time with a soft smile on her face.
Back in their room, Sid throws his jacket on the bed as he enters in anger and tells Ridz to stop her natak. Her stomach churns and piercing pain rushes in but she bravely tries to defend herself and reason with his accusations. However, he refuses to listen to anything and grabs the pillow and blanket from the bed to sleep on the floor. Ridz stops him by holding his hand which forces Sid to turn and gaze at her action.
Ridz: "neeche mat sao, thaand lag jayegi."
Sid: "Please ab yeh fikar karne ka natak karne ki koi zaroorat nahi hain, hum dono akele hain kamre mein. So, please stop all this drama."
Ridz: "Sid, yeh drama nahi hain. Tumhe hamesha aisa kyun lagta hai. Mein tumhe kaise yakeen dilao. Chaho to, tum bed par akele so sakte ho."
Sid takes his stuff leaving Ridz in tears. Later, a knock on the door startles both as they were lying awake. Both suddenly get up and Sid rushly throws his beddings onto the bed and goes to open the door as it has been rehearsed. Sid opens the door to find a guy holding a water pitcher and apologizing for being so late. He hands over the water and leaves.
