I think the new lady they are talking is Gyan's brother's old girlfreind (Rosie?) who Rukmini was talking about. Ialso think that she is back for revenge, since Gyan did hush the whole affair up, and was unfair to her. They may even try to develop a new story line of her having a kid from the affair, etc.
