Talking of Jeyam Ravi's movies - I really enjoyed watching Santhosh Subramanian. It was funny and touching in a way. I think I liked it because of Genelia. Very entertaining movie.

Agreed. I loved that movie and Genelia's super cute but I liked the Telugu version, Bommarillu better! I think the Sidd-Genelia pair really rocks and I have loved them ever since Boys came out! Big smile I'm Ravi's fan too, I think he has a great chemistry with every heroine he works with, be it Sadha in Jayam, Asin in M Kumaran or Trisha in Something something..! But I think he looked a bit old for Genelia but other than that the pair was rocking in Santhosh Subramanian! Tongue

santhosh subramaniam really a good movie......i watched only the tamil version....jenelia was too good in her acts....particularly when she moves out from him.......she was so playful and the transition of her charcter was too good.......
on the whole it was an enjoyable movie.......

Did anyone watch Thillalangadi.....i did not like the movie somehow......dont know why............J.Ravi's comedy timing was too bad.....
He was too good in Peranmai.........the movie had a good theme too............and one positive thing is equal importance to men and women in terms of story would be balanced unlike other movies where men would dominate and women would come only for songs.......

Another movie I really liked was Tamizhpadam. It is a spoof of scenes from other Tamil movies. No logic nothing but fun to watch. Climax was a little bit boring but the rest of the movie was great.

If you want a hearty laugh, then go for it!

Hi :)

nice thread :o)

lately i have noticed that I am more to movies that have some kind of realism..which also means that i am not a big fan of the latest movies of Vijay or ...other actors who have taken the same direction
Vijays latest choice of moviestories are dissapointing when you have seen him in great movies like Priyamanavele (best film of Vijay-Simran), Thullathe Manamum Thullum, Kushi (One of SJ Surya's best movies).

so i really hope we see a new Vijay in the remake of 3 idiots, and Kaavalan

i agree with all of you tht genelia was too good in SS but she was even better in Bommarillu and Jeyam Ravi did look older thn her.. i think the movies adapted from telugu to mail are hardly as good as the orignal except when they have Vijay in it like Pokkiri.. Jeyam ravi spoils a movie tho i like him in the movies which are not a remake like Deepavali i really liked tht movie.. and Dhaam Dhoom.. but other thn tht when they take him in the movie siddharth has done i hate it.. NVNV was soo gud but i was dissapointed a big deal watching the tamil version.. anyways films like Ghilli, Kaakha Kaakha, Vaaranam Aayiram, Ayan, Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya and so many more i like..

butt yaaa how can i forget a latest movie which was damn hillarious... guess which GOA man... tht movie made me laugh like crazy.. it was one superb comedy caper.. Vaibhav was sooo cuteee and premji too.. everytime him seeing the blonde and kangal irandal playing.. ROFL.. tht movie i enjoyed alott
