This scene is one of my favourite scenes. Powerful performances.

It shows Abhijeet's and Daya's loyalty towards ACP. And Abhijeet - wow....love him like anything here. He refuses to shoot ACP down inspite of being offered the post of ACP. He doesn't mind speaking against DIG who is far more senior in rank. And those golden words 'Shaayad Shamsher ko maloom nahin, ki Abhijeet bik nahin sakta'. 👏👏👏👏

 

Then when Freddie walks in with the list, look at Abhijeet's stare. Can scare the daylights out of anyone.

 

And Daya ... no feeling of anger or jealousy that Abhijeet was alone being offered ACP's post. No ego, nothing. An unspoken understanding between the two of them. They know that no matter what their official designations, their behaviour towards each other is never going to change.

 

When Abhijeet reveals to Daya that he knows where the ACP is, there was a slight trace of sadness that Abhijeet didn't tell him before. Look at  Daya when he says 'Mujhpar vishwas nahin???'. I can really feel what he felt at that moment....and Daya has given the perfect expression and the perfect tone there.  👏👏👏👏

 

I'll never get tired of watching this scene.
