This is the 21st century and yet there are claims of racial prejudice and discrimination that keep cropping up the world over, even films for that matter are not left unscathed by this vicious stigma. However, the soon to be released Karan Johar produced film We Are Family has taken up the cause by deleting certain racially offensive scenes from the film.

If what is said is anything to go by then, Karan Johar and director Siddharth Malhotra have apparently chopped off nine minutes of footage containing references to the multiple racist attacks on Indians in Australia.

The said scenes in the film apparently show children being subjected to racial abuse in school. The buzz is that a total of nine minutes have been chopped from the film as KJo strongly felt that the scenes should be removed. Since most of his recent releases have been subject to controversies, Karan seems to be playing safe this time.

Director Siddharth Malhotra however states that deletion of those scenes does not affect the flow of the film.

Did he attain enlightenment after shooting the portions??

Didnt he realize at scripting stage what the scene would come off as...?😕

Btw, the fact is true....there is racial discrimination happening....
There is discrimintion in every country....If they call us "Black's" then our countrymen do them no honour by calling them "Gora's"...

Every one needs a change of perspective....!😕

I'm glad htey chopped it out. I'm so tired of all these films always stereotyping those "goras" as mean nasty racists who always pick on the "poor brown folks".
Yes it DOES happen. but that doesnt mean every filimi has to show the same thing as if all white folks are the same. For every racist "gora" who have plenty who are accepting. And plz, we desis are just as prejudiced against ourselves. We hsould look into our own insecurity with these "fairness" obsession before pointing fingers.
And prejudiced towards differnet sects in our own nation. The punjavis vs the gujus vs the whatnot nonsense.
So yeah, its time we stop with the "bad goras" and cut that crap.
