VJ1 - walking on the road.. Karthik remembering Prem's words. Shree praises Prem, Karthik asks her to be careful with Prem. Gopi on the same road spots Karthik and wonders if this fellow is like the father.. two or more he thinks and wants to clarify with his daughter. VJ3 (MK & SR) in the park..SR gets a call from her dad, who asks for her wherabouts. Gets to know that SR is with the wrong fellow and wants both of them home. SR asks for reason and he lies that he has got gold chain and ring for MK.. after initial no no from MK both of them reach Gopi's house. Usha is all thrilled looking at her future son in law. SR says Gopi only asked her to bring MK.. Usha is upset that she was not informed earlier.
Gopi enters the house, looks at the wrong number Karthik.. stops Usha from serving the coffee, takes back the sun glasses, watch and the shirt from MK.. SR and Usha tries to stop him.. but Gopi shuts them both. MK gives all that was asked for.. Gopi asks about MK's job and he says that he is a car mechanic , shock on SR and Usha's face.. Gopi and family shout at him for cheating them (ada paavigaLaa..neenga plan senjadhu appo enna !) MK says it was wrong of him not to ask her anything but when a young beautiful girl came and told that she loved him he was elated, is asked to leave. Usha asks about the telephone bill he had paid, Gopi blames his wife for not reminding him earlier, continues that this is only a small slip.. SR asks him to dump his stupid ideas... she is happy working and dreaming.. Usha joins in the chorus. Gopi only wants RR's son as his SIL.
Prem comes to a studio to print photos. Yes.. Chennaila irukkira orE oru photo studio.. he spots the wedding photograph of Karthik and Shree.. wants the photograph.. tells is his friend's wedding photo, after refusing first the studio fellow parts with the photo.

Tuesday - My turn - but no turn of events?
24TH AUGUST 2010 EPISODE - 87
VJ1 at the temple. Karthik tells Shree that he had told his father about their love and his father is ok with it. Has also promised to convince Pallavi. Karthik and Shree are very happy. Shree wants to know when this happened, chides him for not telling earlier. Karthik says she brought Prem to the restaurant and hence he had shelved it. Karthik tells that Prem is a villain, Shree negates, says it could be the person who followed them who must have called his house. Says she remembers the face and would spot him one day. Karthik wonders how it would happen, Shree prophecises saying he himself would come in search of them. Both of them come out of the temple. When Karthik is getting his bike ready Shree spots Sundaram, who also sees her and moves away. Karthik wants to drop Shree at the office, who says she would go by bus. (officekku pookoodaiyOda?) transforms herself into 007. Follows Sundaram's direction.
Confronts Sundaram. Sundaram says he is interested in Karthik's life, and the other day he happened to see them , followed them because Karthik usually doesnt talk to females. That he is friend of RR. Now he knows their love, that he was not the one who called up to leak the news. Asks about Shree's family - she tells about her father a building contractor by name Shrinivasan. Sundaram asks if Karthik knows this because he wanted to marry a poor girl. Shree tells him that she has lied and asks him not to tell Karthik. He warns her to to tell the truth soon and also inform her parents about it. She says their marriage would take place only with the blessings of elders. Sundaram is all praise. Blesses her.
Prem visits Shree's house with the wedding photograph. Shree's mother welcomes him, says Shrinath not at home. Prem wants to see Shree, mother asks about the envelope. He says wedding photo of a friend, super jodi porutham, she would want a jodi like that for Shree, she wants to see it, he refuses saying wants to show it to friend first. Mother goes to get Shree, Prem looks at the photo feels all J, calls up Karthik, doesnt disclose his identity, talks nonsense. Shree comes down calling Prem, the phone is disconnected. Begins to talk nicely to Shree, who gets a call from Karthik. Prem asks her to take the call first. Karthik enquires if Prem is there, tells her about the call..Shree is all support of Prem. Warns Shree again. Shree is undecided. Prem asks of her dilema. Shree remembers camphor koluthing Prem. After making sure that her mother wouldnt come in, he shows the photo to a shocked Shree.

Prem shows Shree , her fake marriage photo .. Shree spills the beans , tht it's an fake wedding to get a job .. Prem is relieved & lends some advice .. Shree kku perumai thaangala .. Wonders why Karthik suspects such a noble man .. Prem tells her to keep the photo in a safe place ..
RR & Sundu .. They have got the thoothukudi tender & both men plan to shift Pallavi's family to thoothukudi .. Sundu tells his friend to be happy , as his sad face itself will reveal the secret .. Adds how RR used to be a carefree , happy youngster .. and how Viswanathan , P's dad , proved himself a gentleman , when they went to see Anu in a girl seeing ceremony .. RR sighs , adds , if tht kodumaiyana incident would not have happened , i would also have lead a happy life like others .. Sundu comforts him saying , he can get back to his old life , if he really wishes .. and he must change himself for his kid's sake atleast .. RR agrees with him ..
RR visits his second family .. Announces the tender matter to all , P's parents are missing .. Priya suggests for a lunch & movie .. karthik asusual suggests to spend the day in an orphanage .. P tells him to cook & serve them .. RR happily agrees ..
RR busily grinding some masala in ammi kal 😆 [avar araicha speed kku lunch prepare panna rendu naal aagum 😆😆] .. Whole family watches RR's cookery show .. Sundu too joins the crowd .. Praises his friend as a gr8 cook .. RR atlast cooks some dishes & serves his family .. this time Karthik is missing & grandparents aajar .. everyone praises his kai pakkuvam .. Priya says she'll take his preparation for lunch to college and will share it with her friends & make them jealous [appo ippo saapidarathu enna breakfast aah .. athuvum thalai vazhai ilai pottu 😕😆 nalla family.. punyavathi Priya , konjam Manju vukkum taste panna kudumaa .. appovavathu RR kuttu veliya varutha nu parpom] .. P wonders from whom he learnt cooking .. RR thinks of his mother & sighs ...

Thursday update (gulp)
Everyone is overly complimenting RR on his cooking skills....RR thinks of where he picked up his culinery skills (from his mother)...
Contrast with a scene in his mother's house- mummy is sick with flu and is drinking karachu vecha sadam with rasam, courtesy of a neighbour. She thinks of the past, when her son used to karachu-fy rasam with sadam for her to drink when she was ill...she thinks of his wonderful milagu rasam 😃
Her neighbour cant believe he can cook rasam well 😡 (even my dog can make rasam by the way).
Mummy tells the neighbour of her past. Her husband (RR's dad) died young, and she taught RR to cook at an early age because she wanted her son to fend for himself. She also depended on RR's milagu rasam as medicine for all her illnesses 🤢 (a hint for the medical community here).
Neighbour asks why she fought with her son. Mummy doesnt want to elaborate.
College grounds- Priya enters with her friends during lunch time. She wants to veruppethu Manju. She tells her friends she doesnt bring thayir sadam like others (implies Manju). She boasts that its food prepared by her dad. She gives a stupid grin, and feels so proud of her dad, claiming he will do anything for her, like preparing such food for her. She claims nobody in the world can have such a great dad as hers, unless they have a really good heart (as if Priya has a good heart!). Manju leaves the grounds, really upset.
Anu's house- Loosu Kamesh asks Anu for 2000 rupees. Anu refuses and shouts at him.
Manju enters, and complains about Priya to Anu. She claims Manju always nose-cuts and veruppethufies her at every opportunity. RR also listens to her, and they advise her to ignore it. Anu tells her that dad cooks well (very well), so Manju shouldnt feel bad that only Priya's dad can cook well. Manju convinces her dad to prepare lunch for her too the next day. 😕
Enter- Sundu...claims RR should be with karandi and kai given everyone wants to sample his cooking. They are both concerned that Priya and Manju will never get along in future if they find out they share the same father. (what an idiot)... 😡
Anu comes to the hall, and asks Sundu if Pallavi's husband is always disturbing Sundu (wonder why she asked that)- RR does his usual muzhuchufying act.
Mechanic Karthi tries to make contact with Selvarani. She is very angry with him, but he expresses his love for her. He also reveals he loves her deeply and cant live without her. He has changed to a responsible man after loving her (???how). Selvarani asks him to get out as he is a liar. He tries to convince her of his love but she would not hear of it. He leaves distraught, and she is too...

Update for Friday, Aug 27, 2010:
Karthi and Shree talking in the park. Karthi wants Shree to come to the temple and he plans to bring his mother there so that they can make one more attempt to impress his mother (yeah, right!). Shree is doubtful, but Karthi thinks they can succeed.
Anu's home - RR has cooked, vazhai ilai lunch on the table, no setting for son (again! - ange Karthi, inge Santhosh, avvalavu thaan change!) Manju makes a face and everyone is in suspense - no flies dancing on any of their faces! - finally, Manju gives her verdict - excellent, and everyone heaves a sigh of relief. RR is serving, and Adhi's parents walk in on this cozy drama - since the front door is always left open, in true Tamil serial tradition), and there is more teasing on whether Adhi knows to cook, and RR asks if they have one set of rules for their daughter and one for DIL, since they say they will be happy if their daughter lands a guy who can cook! Payasam is offered to Adhi's parents - verdict is Super, everyone is happy.
Phone rings at Pallavi's place, her mom answers and shouts at someone who has crossed her previously, says she can never forgive her and slams the phone down. Pallavi comes in, gives mom a lecture on forgiving and how it is necessary to be a good human being (of course, the rules change when she advises others!) and Karthi applauds her heart. He offers to go to the temple with Pallavi.
Temple - Shree is praying and looking for Karthi, makes friends with a little girl, whose mother wants to go around the pragaaram, so leaves her daughter in Shree's care (how can you leave your daughter with a total stranger like that in a temple? Most irresponsible). Karthi and Pallavi come to the temple, Shree sees Karthi, lets go of the girl's hand and starts drooling all over Karthi, while the girl goes off chasing a balloon all over the temple. Mom comes back, asks for her daughter, Shree doesn't know where she is, mom starts wailing, and of course, Pallavi the great has to intervene and give her valued advice - why did you leave your daughter with this loosu? she can talk rules, but can't take care of anything - when the girl comes back. Mom and daughter are reunited, mom apologizes to Shree and leaves, Shree has this idiotic look on her face (what is it supposed to convey? regret? apology?) and leaves.
