I agree. We are in real need of new fresh story and screenplay writers. The current set was good in 2006-2007 but now variety, variations and freshness is missing big time. It is the same laash, khoon and tukde week after week and that too in double dose now. Fresh talent is needed with the current set because the current set has the experience and fresh talent will bring in the new ideas.

That is exactly where we are stuck. That is why I said they have to work out a way for it.

FW believes that they are having good stories still now. So why will they bother to think about new writers or to work out a way for it?

they are not willing to read stories,i think.they dont have time to spend on it.the creators are busy with so many activities and they cant conduct a story context.IMO we have a story chest here,thats all we can do.

Well sweetie that the whole purpose of this thread. We the audience is trying to reach out to tell them that THEY NEED NEW WRITERS, knowing fully well that at the end of the day they will do exactly what they want.

Where there is will and realisation, story contest idea as mentioned in the first post is the best . A seperate team can take care of this. It will not take more than couple of months to start the procedure, couple more to deadline of submission and couple more to decide and finalise. Then the team can go back to their original work. But in actuality, this contest will lessen their work a great deal in the long run and fetch popularity and goodwill, not to forget TRPs.

But going back to start, there should be realisation, assessmant and will to rectify things.

I am sure they themselves know it...maybe their rules are too strict that no one wants to join.

I don't think they realise it as strongly as they should.

Strict Rules??? Now what is that supposed to mean. People will be give it all to be a part of such a long lasting show. What better break for a new writer to get a hold into the industry.
