Poem For Mayur :D

Heyy guys!! For those who don't know me, m Aimen, Aims, Aimu--whatever you want to call me!!
This is a poem i have wrote for my favouriteeeeeeeeee couple in this wide, wide world---Mayur!! I love them more than my life . Recently, their track took a most drastic turn.....but they are BACKKKK now!! M soooooooooooo happyyy.....m dancing all around!!
I was writing a poem in which Mayank is lamenting Nupur's death.....But now that she's back, with a lil addition to it, I have molded it.....Do read it guys....it's not too big! I hope you guys can take out some time.....Kindly ignore if not interested!!

Our love story, so weird, so wonderful,

One that made my life so vivacious and beautiful,

because it involved you.

Some girl would make my life turn over a new leaf, I never had a clue.

Our friendship was what you would call "hot and cold".

However bizarre it may seem, in love it did unfold.

But underneath we knew, it was always meant to be.

Then why, oh why did you leave me?

Meeting you was my fortune, becoming your friend was my choice.

Loving you was outside my control; but you deserting me, I still can't visualize.

Your lively presence gave a fresh purpose for my existence,

I wonder now, if you were only my pretense.

Your big, exquisite eyes, like black diamonds, would twinkle,

and in their depths, swallow my entire will.

Your devoted spirit pledged to stand by me endlessly.

Then, why, oh why, did you leave me?

Your sweet smile would make my dullest day shine,

Amidst all the woes, your soothing voice assured me all would be fine.

You came to my assistance, even if you had to traverse an ocean,

Your lovely, gentle hands daily tended me with devotion.

Your soft silken hair, would brush my face when you tossed them over.

You always used to stand your ground when everyone would cower.

It seemed like no harm could touch us, we were bonded so firmly.

Then why, oh why did you leave me?

From friend to lover, from lover to wife,

I finally found the special one I waited for all my life.

I was just a stone, the diamond was you.

I was just a glow, the Sun was you.

Whenever you said "I love you" to me,

I wished I could hear those three words eternally.

My heart tore into more and more pieces with each step you took away from me.

Why, oh why, did you leave me?

The cute arguments we used to have now make me double up.

Those severe fights we had, that ended in a break-up.

Whenever we bickered, you were the first one to mend things and say sorry,

And with your bubbly talks, again make my mood cheery.

I swear I would never hurt you, never let a tear loom near you again,

I would make every moment special for you, as sweet as sugar cane.

Did I do any mistake? If so, you should have told me previously,

Why, oh why, did you have to leave me?

That first touch, that first confession, that first date, that first kiss,

And every other moment spent with you, I agonizingly miss.

When I cuddled you, I felt as if the whole world was in my embrace.

By one kiss from you, my entire burdens would erase.

The raindrops miss you when among them you would dance,

The flowers miss you when you would smell their fragrance.

You did know how my world without you would turn so deadly.

Then why, oh why, did you leave me?

Everywhere I walk, the thuds of your footsteps follow me,

Your presence lingers in my soul, your shadow ambles beside me.

I foresee you all over the world; in the depths of sea, in the buds of blossoms,

In every corner, every street, in all the seven skies, in all the atoms.

There is nothing to blame you for; it is I whom I loathe deeply;

because it was I who deserted you when you needed me terribly.

I was the one who couldn't fight off the Angel of Death who came for you,

That's why you left me'yes, it's sorrowful yet true.

I was weeping for you, when someone came and in their gentle arms held me'

Just like yours; imaginings of mine all over again, probably.

She asks, "How can you think even once, that I would leave you?"

An extremely familiar voice'no it's too good to be true.

She did not go, much as I tried to come back to reality.

It was hard to accept your death, now my mind was playing games with me.

"You can't be back," I asked of her, as my strength began to dawn.

She smilingly said, "No, I am not back, Mayank; I never was gone."
