Ankita's Effort For A Dance Sequence Went Fruitless
Ankita Sharma aka Saachi of 'Baat Hamari Pakki Hai', aired on Sony TV, got her hand twisted and swollen while dancing to the tune of a Bollywood number during the shoot of a three-hour long special wedding episode for the show. It took the unit hours to complete the shooting of the episode.
"Ankita had been working for as long as 38 hours at a stretch for the 3-hour long wedding special episode," informs a source from the show's unit. When she was performing on one of the Bollywood tracks, suddenly her hand twisted suddenly and got swollen. But, Ankita gritted her teeth and gulped back the pain to continue the shoot, though it took hours to be done with the scene.
Practice for 38 hours at a length to perfect her dance steps might have taken a toll on her health. However, the unit members who were present on the set supported her to get the scene done. Despite being in pain, she completed the shoot taking a break of 15 minutes after each shot. As it was a dance sequence, it involved lots of graceful moves that she could not showcase because of her painful condition. Her labor and effort came to a naught.
We contacted Ankita Sharma to enquire after her wellbeing but her manager asked us to wait and said that he would get back to us.
