So lets just talk about what you read this summer!!!!

I know I made a list of questions below but you can simply discuss a book without answering them one by one!

And even if you don't have a book to talk about just stick around. WinkMay be someone will mention a book you will want to read.Embarrassed

1. Did you get a reading list for school?

2. What did you read this summer ?

3. What do you plan to read in the near future?

4. What was the last book you really loved?

5. All time favorite book?

7. Pick a book you absolutely like or absolutely dislike and give us a detailed analysis. (yes it can be 3-4 lines)

Lets see if more than one person ended up reading the same book.

I will make a list below!EmbarrassedWink

Talk to me guys!!!

I love talking books!!!

1. I am not in school anymore so will not get a reading list from school Smile

2. I've been reading a lot of crime fiction and Georgette Heyer.

3. I am going to start a collection of the short stories of Dashiell Hammett.

4. The last book that I read that I really loved was Kartography by Kamila Shamsie.

5. Is very predictable - Pride and Prejudice!

6. You missed 6!

7. Well, I last loved Kartography, which is about Karachi. I loved the way it talked about the city, about remembering and forgetting, about the violence words can do, about living in difficult times, about being cruel to those we love the most... about knowing the worst about the people we love and still forgiving them. It is a beautiful book, both in terms of what it says and how it says it. It is the kind of book that haunts you, stays in your memory for a very long time.

Perfangel, I love all the books you've mentioned as reading. I loved the Age of Innocence and will strongly recommend House of Mirth, also by Edith Wharton.

I did get a summer reading list, and i ended up reading The Rag and Bone Shop and When the Emperor was Divine, and i surprisingly liked both of them. However, i liked The Rag and Bone Shop much better because I really liked the storyline and ending.

I've read a lot of books over the summer(Im a nerdCool) such as the Gone series, Scarlett Fever& My Sister's Keeper(again).

I don't really know what book i want to read next. I just go to my library and spend a lot of time looking through books.

I think my all time favorite book is My Sister's Keeper, but i did not like the movie. The book was written really well and by far the best of all of Jodi Picoult's books. The concept of the story was nice and it was a book that though not everyone could relate to in that extreme, we could understand how the characters felt.
