Arre, "Amen" is also very universal, at least to me, coz it's so commonly uttered in these western countries as also in our home country !! And yes, you are very right .... the meaning is the same and that's what counts !!!

And for those who may not know (please no offense !), tathastu means ~ aisa hi ho ~ so shall it be done (remember old movie Ten Commandments, they used to use that phrase !)
